Watch the 4-part series Suburban Origins: Mumbai. A group of 30 friends from Seattle and Chicago travel to India to attend the wedding of Animish, an architect from Mumbai, and Emily, a biologist from Detroit. Having met in Seattle through an online personals ad, they consummate their marriage with a 2-week honeymoon road trip across India, bring along all the closest friends they have ever known. Their journey takes them from the upper middle class suburbs to the heart of the Mumbai slums, and from the great landmarks of Indian history to its most decadent party towns.
