What I just realized is Jacob sinned and stole his brothers blessing and deceived his father but after that God gave him the vision of the ladder. Even when we screw up huge, God is still there. Thank you Lord for never giving up on us even when he often give up on You.

Esau didn’t respect the birthright (priesthood) that was bestowed upon him as the firstborn. He wasn’t a spiritual man and was undeserving of it. His mother knew this and encouraged the more worthy Jacob to claim the blessing after Esau so casually tossed it aside for a mess of pottage. That is why he was acceptable to God.

Another typical warped Hellenized Christian version. if stories are not presented from a Hebrew context, they are going to be highly misleading, such as this one. But even the English version clearly states that Jacob’s mother put the plan in motion, inspired by the Holy Spirit because she knew Jacob was too inherit the birthright.

Why are we divided. Does it matter what color skin Jesus had. Differences in skin color;skin in itself was a curse. We were beings of light. Then,when Nimrod went against God;Tower of Babel. All people’s were separated and dispersed,all over the Earth. Pigmentation changes due to climate. Hotter environments mean darker pigmentation. Cooler climates lead to lighter skin color. We most likely were all brown after the sin in the garden. Point is;we are all related and all made by God. Skin color is not a basis for bragging. No one is better than anyone. We should quit using race. We are all human race and we are supposed to help one another and love one another. When you feed,shelter,visit someone in the hospital or in jail or give drink to the thirsty;you do all of this for Jesus. We are to be humble. This world is a test.
