Man, I remember commenting a long time ago on his channel that this hobby might be something for him and he wrote that he doesn't quite think so, crazy how far he's come!
Thanks for this amazing build Alex. Very tasteful! For anyone who wants more details about the Encore, make sure to check the link to my site in the description.
You are extraordinary. Man. I've followed you since you were at Futur until you became an independent designer. And now you have created extraordinary work in the world of Mechanical Keyboards!
Awesome work Matthew!!! Once again coming through with more gorgeous clean aesthetics. I'm here for it! Really wanna get my hands on one of these Encore, but equally as bummed to see that the ones with copper will be sooooo much more expensive
I was refreshing the page to get an Encore, but apparently the cart was messing up somehow and by the time I was able to fix the issue it was sold out. Sad days.
been a minute since I’ve seen someone use deskeys instead of TX films, dang, makes me want to try out a set of mx switches with deskeys instead of TX, this board sounds amazing, looks beautiful too!!
The 279 version only comes in black with an option of oak or walnut. The one Alex is showing off with the full copper bottom that comes in green/walnut or white/oak is 529.
I had to laugh at the "more affordable" stabilizers comment cause we'll drop 200-800+ on a board, another hundred (or two) on keycaps, another $30+ on switches, and then fret about whether to pay $12 for stabs or splurge on the $18 ones 🤣🤣🤣
Having used 10 dollar stabs and 25 dollar stabs I can confidently say I never notice a difference on daily use if they are properly tuned. Also I think it’s good to remember people do want to participate in the hobby and not everyone can afford 20 dollar stabs and ever dollar counts.
@@alexotos yeah no that's totally fair! I wasn't necessarily making commentary about the overall accessability of the hobby as a whole, just had a quick chuckle to myself when you said it. I've also had "cheap" stabs work just as well or better with minimal tuning than some more expensive ones (gmk qmx) Overall I love that the hobby has such a broad array of options these days, and much higher quality on the "budget" end of things than we used to get Cheers 🍻

oh snap olive looks good on that!
Right?!
I think it looks good, but I think it looks better with beige keycaps, or the light base olive (just my opinion)
i miss this. matthew and you are killing it, love to see it
Miss you bro
so good man - what a great board!
This looks lovely!
Sounds great. Would love to see a PC top version of this!
Whats the board you're using in this video? (Not the one you're building)
Common Mod Musings W. Seems like anything Matthew brings out is dope.

May I know what is the keycap set on your own board?
9:45 the face lol
This is a nice build, you could vint blacks in anything and they will rock your socks off.
Does anyone know what type of vints these are ?
What is Alex's orange cable?
what's the keyboard above the one being reviewed...with the kanji, looks cool.
Yo! Believe its the W70 by WPJ
@@photon.. yep it is! And they just sold out yesterday
how does it sound so consistent?
is all versions of this board starting at 279 or is the copper bottom versions more expensive? how much is the one alex is building?

Im confused, will the first drop say for a copper variant be 25 or 50? I know it says 50 for green copper but is that total or per drop.
The total amount (500 units of all colors combined) are split evenly between drops.
@@MatthewEncinawhere and when we can buy it ?

I'm curious, are these extremely beautiful keyboards suitable for gaming, not this one specifically, but more in principle?
I use them for gaming, i do enjoy them! You can really customize them to your preferences for gaming
i love the little cork keyb mat, where is that from?
Man this thing looks and sounds phenominal.
Based ModMusing design is based.
whats the keyboard on top? the one with the jp writing?
Hello Alex, can you explain more about the term of “ pretooled” cherry?
wood!The sound like a bird.

Where can I get that amazing orange USB cable?
Tx stabs still the best

encore
this actually looks so nice im ngl.
First time writing first :)
sounds nothing spectacular, just like your average high end boards
aesthetics and material is a bit more special for sure tho
I feel the wood is no, for the presentation and the price.
not a huge fan of how this one sounds. they sounded a lot better in the video that matt made
wood for longevity 👎
Sounds kinda thin and plasticky no?
