The store you're looking at at 6:56 always has a box of matches (on interloper). Rabbits are nothing but a liability until you have a way to cook them. Predators hunt you by scent while you're carrying carcasses, meat, fresh guts, or anything else that will drop as a decoy.
Each of them has its purpose, but I never stay in one region for long. I constantly move through the whole game world looting and hunting to ensure I always have new renewable resources available. My favorite region to start in is Hushed River Valley because it has guaranteed matches, bedroll, Mackinaw, hammer, and hacksaw. I also enjoy travelling through Ash Canyon to get the backpack. Mystery Lake is fantastic for picking up a bedroll, hammer, and hacksaw if you don't know HRV.
@Tattie-s2o I started on loper and just play n keep playing and just always ask is this wasting my time or can I do a better task. Tbh just think n u will get far also keep moving n take ton of damage get completely comfortable with 20HP don't aslo try to fully recover

Thanks for the tip. I want to play on stalker difficulty. I don't know the maps very well. Do you have any suggestions?
I haven't played anything other than interloper in over six years, so I'm clueless about stalker, LOL
@Pest789 Ah, okay, understandable. What region did you like best?
