The main issue with Tau is that you have to be a player knowledgeable of their units, it doesn’t take tha much to be good at orks. It’s a shame you don’t have turrets as a last defence. Thank god for snare traps when there’s orks.
Kauyon Tau is unbeatable, when there are multiple FW teams with so much range you can't even see them picking your army apart there's nothing you can do. Even baneblades can be torn apart by 3 or 4 stealth teams with emp grenades and fusion blasters. Oh and the harbinger is ludicrously powerful. Only thing that has a chance is late game chaos demons or a mobile monolith
imo Jon took early risks that did not pay off, and was not able to keep up because of it. But that said, he maneuvered well and forced you to position. Good game.
trying to range out an upgraded tow is stupid to win against tow is to go melee stop the fire warrior from firing there damage out goes down dramatically in fact ork generally have more melee damage then range

Then tau gets kroot hounds and skyray barrage to destroy their melee :P Also ork will lose half their army trying to approach tau gunlines.
