I used a weight 6 yarn and a 10mm hook for mine, it came out soft and fluffy 🥰 I used the same measurements in inches up until the height of the hood, I did 22 starting chains for the turtleneck portion, only 3 rows on increases, and overall 11 inches for the total hood size including the increases!! I love it so much thank you for sharing this pattern, ended up finishing it in a day!!
@@CherilynQ yes!!! The sweater took me 3½weeks to finish! I'm a housewife with a lot of time on my hands so i pretty much crochet from morning til evening when my husband is working lol. I think thats why it surprisingly took me lesser time making this hoodie than expected! Thank you again! I can't wait to make a cardigan from your tutorials next!
Thank you much! You teach where I can see and understand. Love this ❤❤❤❤❤🎉 I will be making this and more from you. I'm bed ridden for now. However, I still have my hands to do this! 😊Thank you. Please keep teaching. Your great 👍 ❤
Just a clarification question, do you still chain one when you start the double crochet for the hood? I can't tell if you're going directly into the row to start double or if you chain one like the turtle neck portion. Thanks so much! Can't wait to finish this project :)
rly good tutorial but i would personally say that the turtleneck should be able to wrap around your head instead of the neck cause i measured around my neck and it became very tight/too small for my head so i could barely put my head in but at the same time i havent tried to crochet around the head so maybe it isnt a good thing to do but im just sharing my thoughts
💕💕Written Pattern is available in Etsy store: etsy.com/au/shop/CherilynCrochet
the process to do it is so simple and the fact that u gave cm and inch measure alllows us to play around with any yarns
Ikr!! I love it when they give measurements 😆
Absolutely 💯 im actually planning to loom knit this so I just needed someone to show the structure and measurements
Thank you so much for the hoodie pattern. I did it twice for my two friends and they love it ❤️ It was really easy to follow the process ❤️

I've spent 9 hrs making this today and I think I've done the hood on the wrong side of the neck piece but hey, it's done and I am tired now 😂
How many rows should we knit for the upper section?
Thank you for your tutorial.. i love it 😍

Is there a way to make the hood less pointy?

It doesn't look like she does a chain, just turns and makes a stacked single crochet.
How many balls of yarn did you use?
@@HelenaHanson-mp1vn She used a little more than 100g. She said 150g to be safe. About 1.25 to 1.5 skeins of yarn
I used two balls of wool ease thick and quick 140g
Is it 200 g of yarn?
I seen some who have inside the hood a different colored layer how would I do that?
ohh interesting! I've never seen that!
Hello! Does anyone knows how to not get the pointy effect in the back ?
@@leah7142 instead of stitching the top straight, you can curve it, but I don’t know if the extra stitches would be uncomfortable.
Thank U !
You’re welcome ☺️
thank you
You're welcome!
I'm trying to build a pullover sweater with a cowl hoodie 😫 I'm trying to combine patterns loool
What happens 5 ply and it turns to 50 instead of 70 but Same for the 36 chain only thing changed is the 70 stitch
What are the measurements for the hood part
?????

how long did it take to finish ;-;
I took my time, but it should take 3 - 5 days for most people depending on how fast they are.
