  • What a ripper weekend! Penny as usual was fantastic the whole weekend and huge improvement from swan river a few weeks ago. She felt so bold on XC and as usual her SJ was great - again just the dressage letting us down but at the end of the day she is a STB that doesn't trot or canter naturally. Thanks to those that got videos for me this weekend, my parents for helping me at the event and looking after the horses at home and of course my friends. Lots to work on over the summer for perhaps another go at 65 next year.

You guys are doing so well! I can’t believe the progression you’ve both made in the last year or so!!! So proud of you.
If I have any advice to give - is sometimes I just let Chloe pace to a fence.. if she’s comfortable I’ll go with it.
Sometimes we are incredibly lucky to have a horse with an extra gate, I can’t count the amount of times that Chlo has paced a half a stride, and it’s actually saved us. Blessing in disguise if I do say so myself!
Brilliant riding you two stars! 🌟

I’m pretty sure it’s because she’s got arthritis or something wrong with her joints as she’s getting on in the years! So she needs it so stay happy and comfortable for events and general life. ❤️❤️👵🐴

@@equineemmi4682 turmeric in feed good for that. My boy loves it and he gose well on it. I not one for putting stuff that's not needed in or on my boy . But of course if you find something that works even.

Heya! Welcome to my channel x Penny gets weekly injections of dynajec when she is in work (she won't get them weekly now she has finished competing for the year). Dynajec is basically an injection to prevent tying up and muscle soreness / and build muscle rather thank break it down which is what happens when she ties up. A lot body builders actually use it lol..

It's a medication only to be used under recommendation and guidance of a vet.
