My buddy Rick Williams was one of the first one's to scout and run that river back in the day. It was a very limited club to have done the Carbon. I never did. I was CHICKEN.
If you think you might have wanted to kayak when you were younger, you can still do it now, just maybe not on something of this difficulty. Rivers come in all types from smooth to waterfalls. I'm 70 and stick to Class III.
