I adore Praha. This clock is incredible. The older part of the building used to stretch across the block but burned to the ground, yet the clock remains. A blessing to human kind.
Prague is the most beautiful city I ever visited, and I visited many Europe capitals and other famous cities. Just amazing.. and the spirit of the town, the people... Miluju Prahu :)
I couldn't believe how many whiney complaining rich people I seen and heard standing there disgusted and displeased. I guess the clock wasn't made to entertain and the skeleton reminds everyone of their mortality that any money can't prevent. It is a priviledge to get a vacation and even more a great priviledge to be able to fly away, but they are entitled and always feel it should be better to their likings. While the old clock with the Earth in the center is a magnificant historic masterpiece, walking around over the bridge is beautiful and atmostpheric, but those who ignorantly come only to see the clock often miss the whole point that walking around town taking in local culture and atmosphere is why lots of people love to go to Prague. I wish we had nice cultural experience cities to walk like this over in America.
I’m not rich and have visited many places around the world and I have to say the clock is one of most disappointing things I have ever seen it lasts about 20 seconds I was expecting more of a show like maybe for the show to move with the times they could play some gothic music like Marilyn Manson in the background and also perhaps add some more skeletons with some blood and guts but the one thing I loved was the realistic portrayal of the Jewish people
