- Removal and installation of the serpentine belt tensioner pulley. Although the tensioner itself is properly functioning, the pulley can fail due to worn bearings. The pulley will vibrate, make a rubbing/grinding noise and/or squeal. This procedure applies to 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 Ford Escapes, Mazda Tributes and Mercury Mariners.

The amount of detail you put in this video is insane! I know this simple job must have taken you HOURS because of all the filming, amazing cameras angles, and phenomenal editing.
Thank you!!
Another excellent video in which you do everything right: every detail covered, perfect lighting and image clarity, explanation of techniques, bolt sizes, belt routing diagram (with pulley labels), even advising the viewer to check belt alignment on each pulley.
Thanks for helping me keep my 2003 Escape on the road! Your videos are great, detailed and step by careful step. It's appreciated.
Glad the vids help, Sam. I have a 2006 Escape I drive (the 2004 in the vids is my "guineapig" with a blown engine I use for videos). I, too, want to keep it going as long as possible. I know quite a few people that had the earlier models that went beyond 300,000 miles! Thanks for watching!
Glad to see your still doing your thing. Great job!
Love your videos got a question what does it mean when my radio kills my battery
🏆👌🏻
Hope the vid helped. Thanks for watching!
