This was my favorite video of the series so far. It matches well to my second small axial flux alternator I built with it being about 23 rpm/volt at no-load. I'm glad you talked about efficiency a bit and really explained how the restive losses were split between your load and the coils in the alternator.
Hello Dan. I like yours film about windturbin. I also building wind tubin but litle bit different. I live in Sweden close to the westcost and have alot of wind. Your generator is great. Thanks for your information in the film. Best regards Thomas.
Very interesting Dan. I love watching your videos. Are you a physics professor? I’ve never met or seen anyone with such in-depth knowledge of energy. I would love a reply of your background. 😊
Lol, no. Just a high school diploma and a bit of machine shop class. Lots of years delivering pizza! 😊 mostly I'm a shade tree mechanic who's spent most of my time living off grid with too much time on my hands. I have taught lots of workshops on this stuff though, and years ago we made a book 'homebrew windpower'.
Wow!! Amazing Dan. My impression is you probably have more experience and knowledge on the subject than most professors teaching the subject. I have a mountain of respect for you sir. Please keep making your videos. I love them especially the car videos. Thanks Dan.
