Awesome video again great job with the milk crate hack. If my sled is giving me a good lurch forward when the clutch engages is that a sign that the belt may be too loose?
@@OstriChicken Harsh engagement could be too loose or too tight of a belt. Set the belt deflection, also your clutch sheaves might need to be cleaned - I use a scotch brite pad and water. If it still happens it might be worn weights or springs
I blow my clutch’s and wash my belt after each ride. Warm soapy water and a bristle brush. Keeping your clutches and belt clean with allow top performance.
3hrs & haven’t driven it rough because obviously you gotta break it in & the belt is nearly completely worn.. can’t find what it’s grinding on so here I am. So disappointed, I was going to go skidoo but I love Polaris so I got a 2024 chaos with 2km on it & first ride the belt is basically gone. It sounds like whatever it’s grinding on it makes a loud tapping sound.
I have the same snowmobile. I had an issue with it choking and loosing power on full throttle that made almost fly over my steering handle. Maybe you know what makes that happen. I physically checked all my intakes. Replaced spark plugs. If you know anything please help me!
What brand belt are you running? OEM/Aftermarket? Would you recommend it? Comment below 👍
Yes own I would definitely recommend it
Awesome 👍 thank you I am hitting about the same amount of kilometers on the same sled. This is helpful. Thanks again! Ryan
Happy I could help!
Love it! Keep rocking these hits!!
Thanks 👍

Taking it in tomorrow but damn.. im just wondering if it’s something simple that I just need to re adjust & have no need taking it in.
@@noahwhitehawk3405 my guess is your clutches are out of alignment. The dealership should be able to diagnose it for you.

@@vasiliylitvinchuk8584 I would check my drive belt height first. If it’s too loose it may shift into high gear and cause a bog under full throttle.
How fast is the belt replaceable
Takes a couple mins to change. Pretty easy to do
Hi Fergus 😘
👋
Isn't that soap and water going to leave a residue
I use just a tiny bit of soap. You could use just water.
I feel brakleen is best...
@chads3149 Good choice too
WOW !! 500 hundred miles on the oe belt. How high or low the belt is out of the driven clutch is not the proper way to determine belt deflection.
