The way you captured all the orchestrations of the song just in a piano arrangement is incredible! As a Dear Evan Hansen fan I love it, and as a fellow pianist I'm impressed. If you have sheet music you are willing to share, I would loveeee to have it.
Anybody asking for solo sheet music, I did my best attempt to arrange one for my senior solo for my last performance in high school, so this is a possible solo sheet music option: musescore.com/user/13265851/scores/3785546 Please keep in mind that I'm only 18, I've never taken so much as a music theory class, so I'm really only used to reading as a singer and have no training in arranging music. That means there will probably be MANY mistakes, so if you catch something you think needs fixing, leave a comment and I can review it or you can actually download the software and the song to edit and make your own! This is also my arrangement, so some things are a little different than the exact recording, like the different riffs that work better in the context of a chorus and the show, so I changed that stuff around for a solo. I'm an alto, so I will be transposing it to A flat (four flats) but you can edit the key and everything you like on the software! Hope this helps some people!
Did you so happen to write down how to play this peace? Because I have been wanting to play it for SO long and the sheet music still hasn't come out for it yet!
Wow!!!!! Just incredible!!!! Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful interpretation!!! Any chance you have the sheets for your arrangement? I'm dying to play this!!
Awesome arrangement! You've mentioned that you learnt this piece by ear so there is no sheet music. Is there any chance you could give a view of the piano keys as you play this piece? I am not very good at learning songs by ear, and I would love to learn to play this. Official vocal/piano books don't always capture the nuances of the original arrangement as nicely as this :)
Have you ever felt like nobody was there. Have you felt forgotten in the middle of nowhere? Have you ever felt like you could disappear like you would fall and no one would hear? So maybe let that feeling wash away Maybe there’s a reason to believe you’ll be okay ‘Cuz when you don’t feel strong enough to stand You can reach out your hand And oh, someone will coming running And I know, they’ll take you home Even when the dark comes crashing through when you need a friend to carry you when you’re broken on the ground You will be found So let the sun come streaming in Cuz you’ll reach up and you’ll rise again Lift your head off the ground and look around You will be found You will be found You will be found You will be found There’s a place where we don’t have to be alone Every time that you call out You’re a little less alone If you only say the word Across the silence Your voice is heard Even when the dark comes crashing through When you need a friend to carry you When you’re broken on the ground You will be found So let the sun coming streaming in Cuz you’ll reach up and you’ll rise again If you only look around You will be found You will be found You will be found Out of the shadows, morning is breaking All is new, all is new Suddenly I see that All is new, all is new You are not alone You are not alone You are not alone You are not alone You are not alone You are not alone Even when the dark comes crashing through And you need someone to carry you When you’re broken on the ground You will be found When the sun comes streaming in You’ll reach up and you’ll rise again If you only look around You will be found You will be found You will be found Dear Evan Hansen the Musical You Will Be Found lyrics
First off, what a gorgeous performance, you are supremely talented, can't believe you learned it by ear!! But secondly, (my ear sucks), maybe you can help me understand what is happening musically in the last chorus. Specifically during "rise again," it sounds almost like a modulation or maybe the vocals just move differently? Do you or anyone know what I'm talking about?

So maybe let that feeling wash away
Maybe there’s a reason to believe you’ll be okay
‘Cuz when you don’t feel strong enough to stand
You can reach out your hand
And oh, someone will coming running
And I know, they’ll take you home
Even when the dark comes crashing through
when you need a friend to carry you
when you’re broken on the ground
You will be found
So let the sun come streaming in
Cuz you’ll reach up and you’ll rise again
Lift your head off the ground and look around
You will be found
You will be found
You will be found
You will be found
There’s a place where we don’t have to be alone
Every time that you call out
You’re a little less alone
If you only say the word
Across the silence
Your voice is heard
Even when the dark comes crashing through
When you need a friend to carry you
When you’re broken on the ground
You will be found
So let the sun coming streaming in
Cuz you’ll reach up and you’ll rise again
If you only look around
You will be found
You will be found
You will be found
Out of the shadows, morning is breaking
All is new, all is new
Suddenly I see that
All is new, all is new
You are not alone
You are not alone
You are not alone
You are not alone
You are not alone
You are not alone
Even when the dark comes crashing through
And you need someone to carry you
When you’re broken on the ground
You will be found
When the sun comes streaming in
You’ll reach up and you’ll rise again
If you only look around
You will be found
You will be found
You will be found
