How to install a head unit when the wires have been cut, budget upgrade landcruiser 79 series stereo

Thanks for joining me again today, bit of a long vid I'm sorry! In this video we're tackling the stereo, I've been meaning to do this for ages and after heaps of research I finally got my head around how to do it so thought I'd show you all. If you're new to auto electrical there might be some handy tips here, if you're a pro auto electrician let me know what I screwed up lol.

For the 79 series owners, here is the list of wires by colour and my guess at their use, someone correct me if I'm wrong;
Smaller gauge-
Red: Constant power
Grey: Switched power (ignition)
Brown: Negative/ earth
Green: Illumination
Blue-yellow: Power antenna (I'm not 100% on this)
Heavier gauge (power to speakers)-
Pink: Front left pos
Purple: Front left neg
Green: Front right pos
Blue: Front right neg

So if I was to buy those exact speakers you got, I couldn’t just plug n play? I’d hVe to stuff around with them like yourself?

They come with some wire but every car has different plugs from factory so they're not exactly plug and play. You could cut the factory plug off the crimp them, I wanted to keep it factory so I soldered to the plugs
