My s8 Ultra got stuck in boot loop after about 2 years. Support hasnt been that much of help. Obviously a firmware issue on their part too. I'm not for spending another $500 for another unit either so hopefully I'm able to fix it myself
Reaching out to you for any insight with ATOTO S8 not linking bluetooth to my Samsung Z Fold 4. I spent quite a bit of time wiring, soldering, heat shrink wrapping the solder joints and wrapping the wires. Before I set the unit in my dash, I wanted to run the unit and test it out. I even connected the USB to my phone and it does not link to the radio. Here's my video showing my issues. ua-cam.com/video/iokZFUpyWPY/v-deo.html
Sorry for the delayed response. The video you left is unwatchable to me. I'd you change it to unlisted, then I can watch it. It may give me more insight into what's going on.
Hi, I made the video public now. I was able to fix the problem. I believe many go to the SETTINGS menu and DEVICES. Then Bluetooth PAIR to sync the ATOTO head unit to their smart phone. This is not the correct method which seems direct. The method that worked was to go to the main ATOTO screen and select the bottom far left GREEN PHONE icon. A new page will display and 6 vertical icons on the left side of the screen. Select the 2nd icon from the bottom which is an image of a cell phone with at Bluetooth signal. Click display paired devices list which should show a list of available devices. Look for S8 and select that. This linked my Samsung Z Fold 4 to the ATOT head unit.
