God that would suck :( Edit: I know everything gets sexualized at some point but like over 2000 results on r34 within a week is crazy, especially considering how many children are in the fandom. I’m also referring to the content farms/“comics” that appear when you google “the amazing digital circus.” The content farms *do* sexualize the characters. Edit 2: I’m also referring specifically to if you were in Goose’s situation. If any of you have had OCs before you know they can be precious and a big part of your creativity. I don’t think anyone would want their OCs on r34 with over 2000 results unless they’re H0rny as hell. Plus, I don’t have twitter/whatever goose is on so I have no idea what her options are. Do not get mad at me for not knowing she’s alright with shipping/nsfw.
Gooseworx is actually right. Content farms are not fan-made. Because they don’t care about the characters but rather their popularity. It’s a corporate work.
Precisely. Once the hype around TADC dies down, which, on the internet, everything has it's 15 minutes before the next big thing comes around, these content farms are gonna drop TADC like a sack of potatoes and move on to the next popular thing. A fan would continue making fan content until the cows come home, regardless of popularity.
@@HylianKnight02 who knows when the hype dies down. I’m guessing maybe episode 3 or somewhere later but you’re right. By the time the internet moves on from TADC, so will the content farmers.

Gooseworx should have done the right thing and told everyone "I guess you really can't have nives things" and cancelled the show altogether. It's becoming clear that a single successful pilot managed to Garner a toxic fandom, and collectively punishing everyone is the correct course of action.

While once again leaving everyone who actually work with the show in the worst spot imaginable? "The fandom is bad! Therefore the correct course of action is to nuke ourselves! Although to be fair, it is a lot easier to make people take your batshit insane text as genuine when in a subject known for its genuinely insane fans and haters.
yeah but its a fine balance. a great example of going too far is how games workshop basically ran most warhammer fan animations into the ground by getting paranoid about their IP and basically applying the hammer on more then one occasion against creators, giving them ultimatums which caused a pretty famous and funny long running fan show called 'if the emperor had a text to speech device' to be essentially canceled forever from the paranoia. its important to differentiate what is a "poor quality" animation

What people seem to forget is that barely any fans of any media actually enjoy or watch content farms. It's usually targeted towards very little kids, which is honestly disturbing considering the stuff they put on there, and sad considering it's usually stolen content.
Exactly, and this is why parents need to stop letting young children roam free on UA-cam. Children tend to have way too low of standards to know when something is "Unwatchable".
@@bugonboris6681it is even worse than that. It was proven that many of these content farms are hacking their brains, children are the most vulnerable to this kind of stuff. So these channel are the equivalent of giving illegal substances to children (bit overly dramatic way of putting it).
yeah I agree, i feel like UA-cam should be doing something about it since it's basically the equivalent to that elsagate thing. But you can't get UA-cam to do anything about something unless you literally complain about it with a bunch of other people. UA-cam managed to at least lessen the amount of those kinds of content, so why not this too?
Copyright striking these content farm channels isn't just an "I don't like the content", it's punishing channels that chase after profit and pollute UA-cam. I understand her point on this, but there's also nothing wrong with shutting down this sort of content
Yeah, but at the same time I think there's a reason why you don't see MrBeast copycats get copyright struck everywhere, it might be very rude and frowned upon, but it ain't illegal
@@blitzwolfer4154 I do have to say, MrBeast copycats don't seem to steal the identity, more so the "image" or the type of content he makes. Animation content farms, on the other hand, take the entire character (someone's work and creation) and use it to their advantage. Artists have the absolute right to take down such content if they don't approve of it, it's their own work. And as I said, it pollutes UA-cam and allows them to make profit off of someone else's work even if indirectly But I guess this is more about morals. Personally, I see nothing wrong with copyright striking such channels if it's out of good intention like in this case. But maybe others feel as if it makes them look like a bad person, which is also valid
@@DeadVoxelYeah there is a difference between (trying) to imitate the way Mr. Beast makes his videos and copy pasting someone's copywrited character into a trap for kids. I personally believe Gooseworks would be a lot more justified in trying to take those down, if it would even work (idk how UA-cam works) than most other examples of... Whatever the hew this phenomenon is.
@@ZphyZphyer they're not only huge, but they have billions of copies of their channels. But this is a problem that UA-cam needs to solve though. The least artists and animators can do is copyright strike every single channel of theirs that they can find, but of course that's not ideal at all and quite useless to be frank. This is another issue to this whole situation
that’s easier said than done because little kids press on them for the colourful kiddish thumbnails and then sexual shit is just pushed onto their eyes
Content farm channels can indeed dilute and lower the quality of original art by profiting off others' creativity. I agree with Gooseworks's position. It’s frustrating for creators who genuinely invest time and effort. Original content should be protected and celebrated.
And it's all thanks to those parents that can't properly take care of their children so they just let them roam around on UA-cam without any supervision.
Hey guys I get this sentiment, but can I just voice something real quick. I kinda hate when people say this. That a fandom is ruined that is. It’s an unrealistic expectation to expect any popular piece of media to not have a bad part of its fandom. There will always be weirdos and there will always be stupid people. And even though (from what I’ve seen) they don’t make up the majority of the fandom, they tend to be the loudest of the bunch so anyone who genuinely participates positively within the fandom or just generally interact with the media are drowned out. And at that point we tend to hyper focus on those bad people, giving them more traction. Saying a fandom is “ruined” because of bad people that will always be present I feel like just gives everyone such a bitter outlook on participating in what should just baseline be an enjoyment of the same piece of media. If we start saying a fandom is ruined then it really will just fall to pieces because of the destain people gain for it. It’s what happened with MHA in my opinion. Idk, just rubs me the wrong way. (This isn’t to attack or belittle anyone by the way, just a opinion of mine that I wanted to get out. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk lol)
@@Ash77813yeah, that's true of pretty much any group of people. The worst people are generally the minority, but somehow are always the loudest, and seem to overshadow the rest of the decent parts of the community... or maybe it's confirmation bias. Hard to say.
I personally have never understood how people let farm and/or fan content ‘ruin’ the actual show for them. I still enjoy shows such as Voltron, even though the fandom is pretty toxic. It’s never had an effect on the actual show for me. They’re two different things, it’s pretty easy to separate them in my head. Though farms profiting off of popular media is definitely a problem. (Before anyone comments about Voltron, I am aware of the faults in the show, and acknowledge those, but that’s separate from the fandom around it.)
Yeah hard agree but honestly I think most people saying that are being hyperbolic and the rest that aren't... well idk what to say, everything must be ruined for them lol
i guess it's something you tend to associate with the show over time and exposure. i struggle to like a few things because of the associated feelings i have towards stuff that's happened around them, and for people super integrated into fandom culture, a lot of what they see in that fandom can influence how they feel and interpret their favourite media. if someone super into a fandom keeps seeing negative stuff (like content farms and rampant NSFW for example), the way they feel about it can shift over time, especially if they see something particularly traumatising.
Honestly I can’t help it. NSFW content can be genuinely disturbing to me and it ruins my image of the show and characters, and then I can’t enjoy something without thinking about it at least ONCE. Or I just simply lose interest. If I was better at desensitising myself thatd be great but yeah no.
I really love TADC. I am an actual fan. To someone that might’ve seen my work in reference to this project, I hope I have not misrepresented myself. All it was is an attempt at humor for a show that I love
What sucks is that the Jax in the thumbnail actually HAS slight potential if it was made by ‘an actual fan’. Also I wish Goose the best. I know Gooseworx said to have fun with it, but there’s limits and boundaries to that which I respect
fr, I think its a good show but the farms have ruined it, kinda making it completely different from tadc and just brain rot. If the audience it was only watched by the audience it was targeted at, I'd probably have gotten into it. If it was a more mature show like helluvaboss and stuff, then it would be different but the one time we get a pretty good show it gets ruined by souless children
Wouldn't really call Helluva mature, but yeah, I understand the sentiment. It's just a bunch of greedy husks who want to make a quick buck out of a creation someone put their soul into who run these kinds of channels
how the hell did the farms "ruin" it? The show hasn't done anything wrong, it just exists. The show has done nothing wrong but people are saying it's ruined for something the creators didn't even do? huh???
I definitely agree that if you’re just going to do something because it’s popular for your own credit, there’s no point in doing it if you don’t enjoy it and you’re not supportive of what the creator says is supportive then it doesn’t make any sense.
What’s funny is that female Jax is actually designed well. The curly ears, the leather jacket, the dress, it all fits well together and looks like a genuine character. This shows who made it has an actual skill they could use instead of milking someone’s else’s stuff for money.
To be honest with you, there's a good chance the true owner of the content farm either stole the fanart or, which is more likely in my opinion, found an artist with a very clean art style that probably sells their art cheaper than its worth. There are a lot of beautifully talented artists on places like Fiverr and Etsy which sell extremely cheap art that is clean and well designed. If you look at those crappy "animated my story" kind of channels that polluted YT a few years ago, it's kind of the same with animation. They were likely done by younger people and amateurs, so you occasionally get really well made or high quality animation but still probably charged a super low price because they haven't been in the industry long enough to know what their talent is worth and to know which jobs are trash. Low effort content creators LOVE to pray on these type of artists, because they're often just trying to hustle and desperate for work. Of course there are times where they straight up steal as well.
Content farms have existed for a while and I mostly hear about them when it comes to Disney. Anything popular like this will get those gross content farms and it seems to be a bigger thing with Tadc and I can’t really figure out why. That said I think this is a pretty mature response to such things. They aren’t made because the people behind it like the content. They’re made to get money and target kids and it is messed up.

I understand why she’s upset, but if the show does get picked up, makes its own identity, then I’m pretty sure it’ll outshine anything these content channels are making.
They're 100% correct too, y'all need to ask GLITCH Productions, it's on their channel, which means they are the only ones who can actually do something about it at this point. UA-cam doesn't really allow anyone else to take action when it comes to copyright, mainly due to how touch and go it can be.
I think once my action kids show gets made I'm going to have so much fun making fun of creeps that make those content farms, might even make fun of the bad side of the fandom too.
Legally Gooseworx does have the right to copyright strike the content farms for misconstruing the characters before they are in the public domain. And if not Gooseworx herself, then glitch productions as a whole.
I think I was actually once approached by this content farm like a year or two ago, and they asked if I wanted to animate for them. I considered it (without thinking too much about their content) but I ultimately declined. I think I actually dodged a bullet there.
i used to do fanarts of other people's characters when i first joined the internet at the early 2010's, i was young and wasn't aware that i was a content farmer because i enjoyed drawing other people's OC's it sounds irrelevant but what i am saying that it reminds me of my own young self and i was pretty much getting some back lash after maybe drawing too much of their OC's. so i just isolated myself and resort into making original content for myself even tho i do want to fit in with other big content creators and make a dream job because of art commissions, i think gooseworx should be a lesson that i need to learn and she isn't the only one suffering the outcomes of gaining popularity. if that's not the case there is also one content creator who ruined my dream job for me....a certain content creator who fooled us all for 10 years to be "charitable"....so yeah, i supposed being a nobody is more peaceful when you think about it...
I feel so bad for Gooseworx, cause I can see how this is annoying for two things, 1 is your beautiful characters being turned into weird creepy fanart and stuff and them sending it to them and going “how are your thoughts”?!?!, Gooseworx doesn’t care about that stuff, I wouldn’t either, and 2 the fact that a bunch of random people, which some of them can be 30 in their mothers basement making creepy fanart of Gooseworx’s characters and keep spamming fanart!
The sad fact (what i say here is not meant to disregard gooses feelings in any way) is that the punk jax design was good and if it wwdnt made by a content farm then if we liked it enough it mightve made a cameo in an ep about like an adventure to a decade of punk rock and to be honest that would be hilarious
I agree with gooseworks. She had calmly explained her reasonable explanation, and her opinion. I hate how some of her fans r treating her. I love how she let people have their fun w/ harmless(not the disgusting kind) shipping.(I'm not a shipper but i have some good AUs). I'd be hella mad if people were just stealing and and making knock offs of my work while the internet is critizing my reasoning too.
I agree. Like how do these people not think of how frustrating it would be to finally create your own work and publish it to the world only to have people make disgusting art targeted towards children and THEN have others defend those people?? As an aspiring creator myself, it is a terrifying thing to think about because people are so messed up
What’s crazy is that some people’s channel is only about TADC, like imagine they have been waiting for like 2 months for something for them to farm their content on and as soon as there is an enjoyable series on UA-cam that could really have incredible potential they’re like, LETS GOOO SOMETHING TO COMPLETELY BASE MY CHANNEL OFF OF EVEN THO IT WILL PROBABLY BE DEAD IN ABOUT 1 YEARS TIME
Thank God Gooseworx noticed these, I’ve hated content farms like Gametoons and Hornstromp (ESPECIALLY HORNSTROMP) since I found out they existed. I like TADC still but the content farms are ruining it for everyone who likes it.
Exactly. It gives TADC a bad reputation. It just makes it appear like some Cocomelon show for 5 year old children 😭 Goose isn't usually suitable kids if youve seen her other works
The example in the beginning is Hornstromp Games, I was checking out their channel yesterday actually, to rate their thumbnails (Im still traumatized from a PARTICULAR Poppy Playtime thumbnail...)
I am just sad a content farm channel came out with that design before a genuine fan. It is actually a good, not great, design but it's origins are concerning. Thank you for the video and explaining the situation.
I honestly blame the "fans" that repeatedly show and spread the content farm videos and show them online and to goose herself going "OH MY GOSH GOOSE RESPOND TO tHIS PLS". They're the ones making it big and forcefully showing it to her when she has stated multiple times she doesn't want to see it.
I love how professional Gooseworx has been about literally everything about TADC, everything could be ALOT WORSE if it wasn’t for how calm and reasonable she is throughout.
Not only that, but there's content farms for every trending thing nowadays from FNAF to frickin Garten of Ban Ban. The problem is UA-cam algorithm, and unsupervised/unrestricted Internet access to children.
> and even if I could, isn't there an unspoken rule about copyright striking videos you don't like? Like, I'm pretty sure that's always been frowned upon. HOLY BASED
0:45 I totaly agree with her (it was she right? Right?) Back to the topic. It happens with ALL good things in internet, like bacrooms. Fun horror concept but... and now it is dead.
You see that's what I like about TADC. It has a soul. The team behind it has a passion for creativity, and they breathed life into the show, which once existed only on paper. The problem with content farms is that they have no soul. It's as if people are pulling a Dr. Frankenstein and stitching together whatever is popular and forcing it to life through the views of people who have seen the originals. That's what I really hate about content farms, and even society as a whole. People will leech off others just to make their way through the world and it is sickening. If you're so good at making mock animations of popular titles, make your own original content, you clearly have the talent. Anyways that was my 3 AM rant. I have school in the morning. Thanks for reading.
I feel really bad for Gooseworx and the GLITCH team cuz at this point its UNDERTALE lvls of popular and while yes that can be good in some parts, considering its only been the pilot and all this stuff is going on I'm just worried for the crew working on the show.
Farm videos where pretty easy to avoid, but with UA-cam's new algorithm it's a lot harder. I have been getting a lot of garbage in unrelated searches. From what I have seen though, I kind of wish farm videos where the only problem. I have seen some disgusting things that looked like they where taken from the deepest pits of UA-cam.
Going out on a limb: copyright striking a content farm channel is understandable because it's clearly not fan content and it's not fair criticism; it's profiting off your content through their content factory to get views and revenue which is unfair of them to do. The "punk Jax" "sister" character looks like fan service with the tight clothing, popular aesthetic for many a waifu, and the blushing and the hearts. I would be applauding Glitch Productions if they were to copyright strike that video on Gooseworx's behalf. ...So long as she's O.K. with it, of course.
the fact that one of the creators glitch also has a popular yt channel called SMG4, and SMG4 made a video about him vs content farms with a blurred version of TADC in the background-
I think I should tell them There’s an Ai character chat that used Jax as a way to promote their app but the ad it self doesn’t show up on the mainstream where everyone could see it.
This makes me gain respect for TADC, I liked the pilot, watched half of it. And the thing is, it’s hard to separate a series community from the source.

It’s more sad and even a bit frightening to me than anything.
The issue isn’t copyright striking videos the issue is people abuse it, if Goosework or Glitch wanna protect there copyright especially since the content being pushed towards kids is in appropriate no one will fault them for that.
Damn, the show has been around for only like 2 months and it got lot's of dramas. The show itself is very good, but the fandom is just... downright horrible to say the least.
I feel really sad about this, content farms make look TADC like a kids show, and I think it won’t be for long, I mean, it’s the same studio who brought you Murder Drones, MURDER drones, I feel worried cause the little brother of one of my friends ask me who was my favorite character when we were talking about it, and I’m also worried because at the end he is going to see probably very cursed things for his age.
It’s not just “getting rid of stuff you don’t like” it’s punishing those who exploit the good will the original creator has built up to make inferior content, damaging the reputation of the original in the process. You know, the whole point of copyright laws in the first place?

I’m also referring to the content farms/“comics” that appear when you google “the amazing digital circus.” The content farms *do* sexualize the characters.
Edit 2: I’m also referring specifically to if you were in Goose’s situation. If any of you have had OCs before you know they can be precious and a big part of your creativity. I don’t think anyone would want their OCs on r34 with over 2000 results unless they’re H0rny as hell.

I'm not even worried cause my characters (the heroes and villains) would roast the creeps that make those content farms.
Well, that’s the Internet for ya.

Which probably won't even care and just jump to the next popular internet trend and be equally as weird about it?
While once again leaving everyone who actually work with the show in the worst spot imaginable?
"The fandom is bad! Therefore the correct course of action is to nuke ourselves! The bad people will still exist, but thats the morally superior course of action somehow!"
Is this just some very weird roundabout way of implying that you don't like TADC and think the showrunners SHOULD nuke themselves for no reason?
Cuz I really struggle to believe someone would genuinely suggest this thinking its actually going to accomplish anything other than damaging Gooseworks and Glitch
And if this was a troll then... Props to you man, it was a very well made one, 10/10.

Not usually, always
And as I said, it pollutes UA-cam and allows them to make profit off of someone else's work even if indirectly
But I guess this is more about morals.

Hi!!
As a TADC fan, I feel really bad for Gooseworx and what she’s going through right now.
Content Farms have plagued anything and everything. I think it’s a good thing that Gooseworx is doing something about this.
Agreed but I also feel like UA-cam should be doing something about this as well..
Yea, UA-cam should do something about these farms. But knowing UA-cam, they unfortunately won’t. They should though
I literally hate seeing shit like this. The fandom got ruined quickly.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk lol)
the fandom isn't ruined. content farmers are not fans
@@Ash77813yeah, that's true of pretty much any group of people. The worst people are generally the minority, but somehow are always the loudest, and seem to overshadow the rest of the decent parts of the community... or maybe it's confirmation bias. Hard to say.
There's two things on the internet that are certain after an indie game/cartoon show becomes popular: R34 and content farms.
the former is the better option tbh. every community has it but content farms can easily ruin a property
Its like the characters remind you of it when you see them, similar to the way trauma works (and no, I am not saying content farms are traumatizing)
Oh God you brought back memories when you mention voltron
Well, that's what occurs when you make a popular show/movie. Disney had the same issue, frozen content farms was popping from nowhere
Wouldn't really call Helluva mature, but yeah, I understand the sentiment. It's just a bunch of greedy husks who want to make a quick buck out of a creation someone put their soul into who run these kinds of channels
One episode. There's only been ONE episode.
how the hell did the farms "ruin" it? The show hasn't done anything wrong, it just exists. The show has done nothing wrong but people are saying it's ruined for something the creators didn't even do? huh???

What’s funny is that female Jax is actually designed well. The curly ears, the leather jacket, the dress, it all fits well together and looks like a genuine character. This shows who made it has an actual skill they could use instead of milking someone’s else’s stuff for money.
It's probably stolen fan art anyway.
There’s no skill in that lol anyone can make that. It’s a simple design
@@spunchflopbadpants alright, you draw it.
The fact only the pilot of the show is out and there is already a huge fandom is insane

i used to do fanarts of other people's characters when i first joined the internet at the early 2010's, i was young and wasn't aware that i was a content farmer because i enjoyed drawing other people's OC's
it sounds irrelevant but what i am saying that it reminds me of my own young self and i was pretty much getting some back lash after maybe drawing too much of their OC's. so i just isolated myself and resort into making original content for myself
even tho i do want to fit in with other big content creators and make a dream job because of art commissions, i think gooseworx should be a lesson that i need to learn and she isn't the only one suffering the outcomes of gaining popularity.

But if Goose is (rightly) getting upset at all is drama, then that puts the show’s future at great risk. She’s the creator, after all.
I wish I knew what to do or expect in a situation like this. It’s more sad and even a bit frightening to me than anything.
We need to warn Hornstromp about this...
How-
??????????
@@TFOF_Kinen By telling him, of course!
SMG0: Please Make It Stop
Niles: Yeah Content Farm Needs To Stop
Fred: Yeah I Hate This.
The issue isn’t copyright striking videos the issue is people abuse it, if Goosework or Glitch wanna protect there copyright especially since the content being pushed towards kids is in appropriate no one will fault them for that.
Honestly, I think animation type content farms should be the exception of "copystriking vids you don't like" issue

0:30 HORNSTROMP??? HOLY SHIT I HATE THEM SM UGH
