    No offense to Cole, Great Athlete, but why does CF keep saying he skipped the NFL draft for CrossFit. He had 3 tackles his senior year on special teams... NFL was never going to happen. Lets celebrate him as a great Crossfitter and stop trying to position CrossFit as an equal to the NFL for Professional athletes. Just my 2 cents

      I was wondering why the hell would someone pass up the nfl for crossfit? League minimum is more than what he would make winning the games.

    Great vid. Whether or not they're smashing doesn't really matter. They can be soul mates or swole mates -- it's great to see two people connect with something beyond themselves as individuals. I'd rather see this than an eharmony ad, that's for sure.

    Cole's story is misleading. He almost never played at UW and wasn't good enough to enter the nfl draft. He didn't "choose" crossfit over the nfl.
    His story only proves that you don't have to train crossfit to be good at crossfit.

      After coming to Washington, Sager was immediately inserted on special teams. In 2009, he was awarded with the scout-team special-teams MVP. He also played a little bit on special teams as a freshman. He’s continued that role for each of the past 3 seasons. While he practices with the running backs, he has yet to see a carry and will probably finish his career with more tackles (12 at the moment) than rushing yards.

    If Christians are being persecuted for their beliefs then they are doing something right. There is room for everyone to have an opinion and a belief about things, but bashing on the one or two sentences of the video explaining why they do Crossfit, and why they help people is not reason enough to fight in a comment section. I am a faithful believe in Christ Jesus, but I am not here to bash on you because you believe in something different then they do or I do. If you believe in one thing or another then that is up to you, but I will not sit here and fight with you about it. They are fit and in shape and they get to do what they love everyday. Don't sit there and attack just one part of this video because you are somehow offended by their faith..... That is my rant, I hope you all aren't to offended now. =p

    Effervescent young athletes in love with one another and feeling grateful and enthused for their belief system. No harm in that. If they were atheists and said, "My how the sun shines", we would probably smile and think them just as goofy. Cynicism is also a belief system, and we are entitled to that as well.

    DAFUQ does Jesus have to do with fitness? Froning, Bailey, Holmberg, and Sager all talk about glorifying God through burpees and handstand walks. I don't get it.

    • @Power_Ryan
      @Power_Ryan 8 років тому +1

      +Michael Bluth It's not that being able to do more pushups, or lift more weight, or what have you makes Jesus like you more or anything like that. But one way of, as you put it, "glorifying God" is to better ones self and change the lives of those around you in a positive way. That's what Jesus has to do with fitness.

    This is turning into some kind of religious fitness movement or what? I really don't this Christian propaganda. It just feels like HQ is trying to attract all the south and mid U.S. people with the religious stuff. More people = profit.
