I couldn't find any datasheet for the Bluetooth IC (WS9641) and the touch IC (ASD9050D).

Hi, thanks for your videos, really amazing. I have one studio 3, bluetooth and touch bar doesn't work anymore. Only input 3.5. Wich part of the board or pieces should i test/inspect?

Check below point.
Bluetooth: bluetooth extension U.FL RF antenna connector.
If U.FL connector separated from AMP board then can not check bluetooth signal.
Touch : check touch connection 6pin cable.

my hk aura studio 3 does not turn on anymore. I know that the cable/wire is working, but it won’t turn on. I assume that it is the power button (that is touch/tactile). From your POV, is it hard to replace or fix?
Please check power supply module first.
When connect AC cord then must be checked +24VDC voltage out at 2x3 pin header.
And check DC5V or DC3.3V on the AMP board.
If good then you must check touch IC cables for turn on power.

I can not found part number of bass speaker.
I guess maximum peek power is 100W.
si el TPA3116 es de 50 w x 2 porque solo entrega 15 x por canal?
el capacitor de 47 mf aplica para los 3 parlantes o solo para el primero?
I guess it is enough speaker capacity in this model.
The 47uF connected just one speaker for middle range.

Hola amigo disculpa una pregunta, se me voló una de las bocinas de mi aura 3, si la desconecto afectará a las otras? Es que no sé cuánto cuesta repararla o si tiene reparación y por el momento me gustaría solo desconectar la que se voló,😭
Es una pena.
En primer lugar, deberás contactar con un centro de servicio postventa oficial.
Se cree que la placa de alimentación probablemente esté dañada.
Después del desmontaje, es posible que no puedas recibir el A/S, por lo que te recomendamos enviarlo primero a un centro de A/S.
Sabes dónde se puede conseguir esas bocinas necesito 2 se me malograron acá en Perú no hay repuesto

The Aura Studio 3 main board need 24V DC / 5A power.
If you want to support external power without modify, then connect DC to AC power bank. (110V or 220V AC out).
Just find DC to AC power bank.
But if you want to modify internal power board, then I recommend remove AC/DC board and replace new power board(DC to DC boost).
In this case you can not support AC power anymore.
Hi, i just got my aura studio 3. And i understood that i cant change the colours. I am intrested in your project. Where can i buy this pcb?
I have the next doubt on my Aura 3 and if I buy the DIY kit rev 2 could help me on the next problem: when I turn on the aura whit mi finger on power on touch, the aura just light for 1 second and off automatically , and if a try again , many times, the same problem again, just turn off automatically and never can get turn on… maybe the capacitive sensor aro? I desconectted all , clean all, dessambky and ensamble all and nothing, maybe to buy your kit diy could I turn on complety the process and maybe enjoy the equipment?… thanks in advance ,, greetings.
AUra Studio is slow to respond when turning the power on/off via the touch sensor.
I think it's about 2 seconds or more.
So, the delay in response forces you to try touching it again, and doing so will result in unwanted operations.
@@iamheesoo thanks a lot, but the problem is that , never turn on, even though I touch the power 1, 2, or 10 seconds just turn on the light in the middle center, some times the full lights but never gets to turn on the system complety, I don’t know why, thanks in advance fot you support or any idea to resolve it. Please touch volume+ touch pad.
Sometimes the volume is changed to minimum after power off, So we think turn off status even turn on.
I asked about this issue to A/S call center. But they didn’t know about this issue.

Hello. Could you post a photo of the power supply board in good quality? Or tell me the resistance of resistors R520 R521 R522 R523. thank you.
From R520 and R523 resistors are 0.59 Ohm.
4 resistors are connected in parallel.
So the combined shunt resistance value is 0.1475 ohms.
When I measure the resistance with a multimeter, it comes out as 0.2 ohms.
The accuracy of my multimeter is not good.
But theoretically it would be 0.1475 ohm.

My Aura 3 shut down one day in the middle of playing. Do u have any ideas of what would cause that to happen?
If do not any actions(ambient light & any sound) then I guess power supply problem.

Recommend 24V 5A if you need full power output.
You have to remove AC to DC power board and replace new battery pack included DC-DC boost converter.
[Battery voltage (7.2V or 14.4V) to 24 voltage]
How about use external power pack (AC 110V or 220V support)

Es exactamente el mismo equipo y mismas bocinas pero este último el aura 4, tiene la posibilidad de aumentar o disminuir graves como agudos también . Saludos

Hi, I've come here because I can't find anything on the internet about the problem I'm having. It happens that my Harman Kardon Aura studio 3 was playing music normally, but suddenly it turned off, the speaker still turns on, but it doesn't make sound when turning on, and it basically has no audio.when trying to connect it to Bluetooth, it makes a kind of "Static noise" and does nothing else, it is worth mentioning that it DOES connect to Bluetooth, but when it starts to play whatever, the noise sounds and disconnect the device, and through the 3.5mm jack it does not work in the same way, can someone help me?
Is it working when you touch power key?
If not working then I think it is power supply problem.
Please check DC voltage after teardown.
It must be checked 24VDC always.
@@iamheesoo I already did the check and yes, it gives constant 24 volts, and the speaker turns on and connects to bluetooth on any device normally, the problem is when I play something, the device I connected before, disconnects and makes "static noise"
@@eysoyisaaa2098 please check external RF antenna cable.
If disconnected between U.FL connector and antenna cable, can not receive audio.
In my case didn’t working after assembly. So I found this RF cable disconnected.

Hi I am having same issue. What do you mean RF cable?
This is due to the 3.5mm audio jack. In normal cases you should leave this unplugged because there is a switch in the 3.5mm which grounds the audio lines. The device switches between cable audio and bluetooth by detecting this grounding. If it is unplugged and there is still a problem I would suggest making a 3.5mm jack with a short cable where all 3 wires are tied and/or soldered together.

I think it is normal in aura studio 3.
Bass speaker power is 100W.
And treble speakers are 30W.
Too much bass sound.
Unfortunately this Aura studio can not control bass volume manually.
But Aura studio 4 can control bass and treble volumes.
i think i blown my woofer.. because i try press my woofer I hear scratch sound.. that its normal for harman kardon?

ADC : aux input process
DAC : bluetooth output data & digitized aux data to Speaker analog output.
(I2S digital to analog included amplifier)
Is the Sub really 100w RMS ? Because Jbl bar 2.1 has a 100w sub. But size is different. Your opinion? Will hit sub for a reply😁

But I just estimate a lot of developing costs.
The material cost is lower than expected.
But the knowhow is bigger than expected.

If I have all these parts, and even if I make the same speaker with those parts, I can't sell this product because I don't own it.
There is no point in making a replica product.
