Iñárritu has switched gears, bringing his highly personal storytelling to an epic and deeply immersive frontier adventure of survival in "The Revenant". This wilderness production required intensive collaboration among a diverse team including Iñárritu and producers Steve Golin, Mary Parent and Brad Weston. Now the quartet, with Iñárritu on live feed from his edit in Los Angeles, takes the stage to discuss the myriad creative challenges and joys of bringing this cinematically inventive story to the screen. The film’s reliance on forging a tight-knit team ready to give their all is a topic that will be relevant to every producer.

The physicality... LOL (please go watch any of his other interviews and you'll find its his favorite word) He says it with so much passion!
"Birdman" and "The Revenant" were extremely good movies.
I can see why all the top actors want to work with him.
Also, because he makes only classics and masterpieces.
Alejandro G. Iñárritu is a true genius.
Great post, thank you for sharing.
i find him pretty basic, but he is very honest about what he wants to make in film, why he is pretty good
@@insanedb being basic and achieving simplicity and shining a light on the simplest of truths of life is one of the most impossible things especially in art, that’s why ostentatious displays of nothingness on the name of entertainment sells big !
Kushagra Dubey you are twisting my words trying to make my comment look like I’m talking about commercial films, you pretentious piece of shit
@@insanedb you’ve spoken what I said about you, thanks for solidifying my claim !
When I first saw Birdman I was shocked by its daring not to do usual cuts.
Best mind set is to always be open to learn something from anyone.... with his skills and experience there's lots to learn.
Thanks for sharing this excerpt! :)
thank you for sharing
Ma inspiration 👑❤🔥🤗
👑
Que bueno.
Producers Guild of America, or just the USA?
i can see the inspiration of Tarkovsky
This Mexican is Genuis
I need subtitles
Alejandro's movies may be melodramatic and manipulative at times but he is master at technical Genius
When asked, he refers to other people, when directs, he just steals from others. Its so simple.
Mikel G what how if anything that’s Tarantino
I saw your other comment about he stealing from tarkovski, 4yrs ago. You comment this 2 years after. Whats your problem. You're just a pretentious douchebag 😆 probably you don't know how art works and how artist make art. It's not like they pulling away from thin air. So stfu
Dear Alejandro,
Stop misquoting.
Your big quote by Kubrick is not from Kubrick. Actually, Kubrick said directing a film is like " writing War and Peace' in a bumper car in an amusement park"
So Not poetry on a roller coaster. Thanks.
Lost In Traslation? XD get it?
Same idea.
same thing
he's too busy making movies to worry about verbatim
Pensare Films stfu
He is so full of hot air.
PUMPA DOUR umm... he made bird man and the revenant... what have you made?
@@JuanPaulFilms1138 excuses lol
4 years later man. We're still waiting for your Academy Award nomination.
I dont understand why people say that Alejandro is a genius. Genius maybe Andrei Tarkovsky. Thats why Alejandro stole many shots and ideas from him. Big difference innit?
stole? dude everyone steals from other artists. The work is the most important thing.
Dude, obs you are a follower. Sure, its the most important thing, but when that works is weak and used and clearly used somebody's work is a downfall. You might not get it though...
Mikel G you’re an idiot
@@therealsaintseiya if everybody steals from other artist, Tarkovsky stolen from??
Your tripping bro! You try to make a film and you’ll see how Hard it is to make one his advice is still his own advice
