Nice to hear from your dad on this video. He seemed excited about the system, you guys are very lucky to be working together. Life is short and precious .... FARM ON
Very cool stuff Ryan. I don't blame you for not wanting to take t back out of the combine when you have all the information at your finger tips. Looks like a good system overall.
hey Ryan when are you going to do your next update on your Holstein calves. did you get any weight yet where they are gaining per day. and how many do you guys have by now.
technology on the Farm has brought about many improvements in the area of efficiency. GPS mapping on my Farm combined with soil test has allowed for more cost effective lime and fertilizer applications.
Ryan, will the system you put in the planter sync up with all the data from your combine? Does it have real time capability to share between systems if you were to install on another combine as well? How much is that complete system for your combine gonna cost the normal farmer? Thanks for the video. Keep them coming!
I understood Alex (WS Ag) say during the Installation Video that stored information is transferable to other machine applications. Looks to be a valuable tool for crop management.
Not to be a pest but someone tell me how many total acres of corn and soybeans you are harvesting? Maybe it's none of my business but I am just curious.
1000 to 1500 acres is a lot more than I thought. It could be correct but I guess Ryan is just keeping the number to himself. If I had known the acreage was as high as you guys suggested then I could understand spending thousands on the yield monitor they are demonstrating. The width on the disc, the number of rows on the corn head and the size of their hay making equipment just made me think smaller. :)
It is nice to see you and your dad together.

Looks & sounds like a very good system to help keep track of yields & areas that need more help. Another good video.
that thing is really cool, and definitely like when you show and explain things in detail like you did here.

Hey Ryan I'm a big fan and I just want to say thanks for liking my post of my pumpkin carving on instagram

Now that is just impressive. Much simpler to read the data than what I thought it would be.
Very cool, thanks for sharing the farm tech, didnt know it was getting this advanced
Ryan, thanks for the informative video. That is a great invention. You & OLF do great videos!
