Bottom line... Good salon products work on ALL hair. As long as a Joico or Paul Mitchell or Aveda is designed for moisturizing then it's probably great and much better than the "natural", no sulfate, thick crap most natural or curly heads use. I'm 4b and get the same results with joico as a loooser curl pattern person. Its the product not the texture.
Yes, I'm natural but switched over to more salon quality products. All of my shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner are Redken and Joico. Next I will be trying Pureology.
Great review just like you said. These products will detangle naturally curly hair like no other. You can find these products 50 percent off at Burlington’s, Marshals, and TJ Max.
This is now my holy grail!! I used it 4 times and there’s no turning back. I will start getting the liters at TJ Maxx on my next payday. Thanks for putting me on!
You CAN detangle with the balm. When u finish your dc, add a little water and the balm will emulsify. You detangle and then finish rinsing the balm out.
I LOVE the treatment balm, and I can find it pretty reliably at Marshalls. I also really like the K-pak conditioner if I need more protein. That stuff really makes my hair feel like flexible armor That K-pak conditioner got me through my transition!
I just ran to my product cabinet. I had about 1 tablespoon of the balm left 😞 Why? Oh Why? Did I not restock? Like those people that leave one swallow of juice in the container, why? Product junkie about to take a ride 😂🤐
The best thing about the balm is that it contains just enough keratin to balance out the moisture so your hair won't get mushy and weak from too much moisture. If you have a hard time with protein/moisture balance this balm is perfect.
I know this video is old but I just discovered Joico because of my hair stylist and I’m beyond amazed. I have 4c tight coils very dry coarse hair but fine density. I have been struggling with moisture for the past several years because I didn’t know that I was supposed to be using all purpose shampoo and moisturizing shampoos so that I don’t strip my hair. The treatment balm is amazing! I use the Mizani scalp care shampoo follow up with Joico shampoo and treatment balm and my hair feels ridiculous moisturizers and soft. Why are the natural girl with coarse dry hair not talking about this like more? I wasted my time buying Shea Moisture and all the hyped products for years but my hair is was still dry. This has totally changed the game for me and is now a holy grail.
@@Randomperson16-q4j I use Mizani Miracle Milk leave in, its a spray and its a great all purpose leave in that doesn't weigh my hair down and acts as a heat protectant for when I blow dry as well. I HIGHLY recommend.
The amount of slip is stupid because the amount of dimethicone is stupid 😂 but jocio was the first product to make my curls come through all the repeated damage. It encouraged me to cut off my extreme heat damage of 5 years off. Havent flat ironed my hair in 3 years 💙
😟I have high porosity hair and always leave my conditioner in for 3-5 minutes, otherwise it makes my hair way too conditioned and soft which = lots of breakage
Should I deep condition with the balm under a drier? I use to use Joico when I would get keratin treatments but it's been like 5 years. Ready to try new products. My hair is not growing as fast and just cut it short so want to take good care of it. Thank you.
Good tip on not overusing the product. I also have seen them in my local TJ Maxx for half price all the time. I might give that balm a whirl, but I am in love with my GVP Conditioning Balm from Sally Beauty, and this month all GVP products are 2 for the price of 3. It is so moisturizing that I have a hard time trying any other deep conditioning balm.
+Carol Smith once I start back purchasing hair products I'm definitely going to start doing GVP reviews. I forgot how much I used to love those products!!!
Girl! 😭😭😭 struggling with my high porosity, dry fine 4B/4C Hair and have been thinking of trying this line. Would you recommend just using the treatment balm or using both the regular conditioner and conditioning balm after?
PreppyFay12 I have 4b/4c hair - more on the 4c side and I have just used the conditioner. It works like magic on my hair. Please do yourself a favor and get this conditioner. It really is the best I’ve ever used !
The shampoo and conditioner was awesome for my relaxed hair. I hate it on my natural hair. The shampoo does not clean my hair and the conditioner does absolutely nothing for my natural hair. The balm is really good under the steamer but is difficult to wash out my fine hair. I stopped using it and never looked back.
Love your channel and love YOU!! I'm from NY but whole family is Dominican yet I look nothing like the stereotypical Dominican lol. But my hair is curly as heck, and I have very very fine strands like u! Completely in love with your channel! Have you ever tried the brand Soultanicals? I believe it's found at certain stores and online. I would looooove to see a review on that line. Can be a little bit pricey, like the Kinky Curly Curling Custard, maybe a little less.... but I'd love to see your review! ❤️❤️❤️
+LaRubiaCantante27 oh my gosh!!! You're so freaking sweet!!!! And no I haven't tried it yet! I keep hearing about it though! I already have it on my list of products to try!!!
I agree the products are amazing, but what about the silicones they contain? Won't they damage one's hair over time? Has anyone been using these (and only these) for a bit longer and could share their opinion, plz? :)
❤️❤️❤️ 9:33 - 9:38 LOLOLOLOLOLOL when a person has back length inches on inches on inches afro textured hair.... UA-cam SEARCHES IS A GOOD FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! smh lol whew... but = worth it❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for saying that. I decided to switch and use professional products at home during this pandemic. I appreciate the confirmation!

But are the products old when you but at those places or do you find then too be fine?
Yes! I just got the MR treatment balm for $9.99 at Marshall's. It is $21.50 at ULTA! 😯
@@yourstruly_777 It's the exact same thing at ULTA, same packaging and all. No difference and not old at all.
I got the balm for 7.99. It was the new packaging and works just fine. I've been using Joico on and off since 2008.
This is now my holy grail!! I used it 4 times and there’s no turning back. I will start getting the liters at TJ Maxx on my next payday. Thanks for putting me on!

I see this brand all the time at TJ Maxx and Burlington.
+Tiffany I didn't even know Burlington sold hair products!
It is the BEST. I used it like 15 years ago then switched to Paul Mitchell Moisture.

+Camille Rose that makes sense! I never thought about low porosity hair requiring less time so that it's not over processed! Great point, love!!!
Hola disculpa la mascarilla ( balsamo) se enjuaga? Cuantas veces por semana se aplica, gracias
Joico is amazing. I love ❤️ Joico and they work amazing. Thanks for the wonderful review.

You can. Hairlicious here on YT does it on her relaxer day.
EXCELLENT advice on leaving conditioner on when using the treatment
I will definitely do this. 😊

My hair dresser just recommended this product for my struggle natural hair.
I could have not said it better myself. I have 3b/c hair and LOVE THEM ALL 💯❤️❤️❤️💣💣😍
The best, nothing else made my hair feel the same. I have thick, 4C hair.
See , this is the review I was looking far , my boo 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 . Ok now back to the regular scheduled program I was watching. 😂
Hairlicious here on YT got me in the treatment balm. She uses it on relaxer day. I I grabbed it at Marshall's real quick when I saw it!
Joico is my baby it's all I ever get! 😁
Sierra Malella same lmaoo ☺️
You have a great personality 😅😅💚💚
I really like your top. Where'd you get it please?
Have you tried the joico k PAC line, redken all soft line, or redken extreme line?
I'm going to try these products. I need as much slip as I can get!
+hilangela webb the slip in the conditioner is insane!!!

+Lissa0821 what?!?! I LOVE it on my straight hair. Different strokes for different folks lol!
I agree with this assessment except the balm is the bomb on my natural hair. I agree the shampoo does not cleanse well and the conditioner is meh.
I love Joico but I haven't tried these I'm sold lol. I need them all bc I have thick coarse high density dry hair!

@Kayla thank you! 😊
All I use are silicones. As long as you shampoo them out regularly then your hair will be fine.
I still have not been able to find these products. 🙁 I have been stalking TJ Maxx since I watched this video. Lol
+hilangela webb what?? have you tried Marshall's??
Yes, TJ Maxx and Marshalls suck in New Orleans
hilangela webb ulta has it
hilangela webb I have website you can get it Sleekhair .
Marshall and Burlington try there some C.V.S as well.
