Maybe your heat tolerance has increased after eating the pizza and currys lately, hence why this seems mild to you but would probably have a bit more of a kick for others who don't do a lot of spice in their food 👍
I watched the program mate. Tried to look when i went in couldn't find any for sale where my local Aldi is. Must of sold out at the time. Speaking of Aldi I have a request for you, if you liked the Guinness Coffee beer then you'll love the one they sell in Aldi in a bottle for £1.78 i think. Review that mate, I got it after watching Paul's Beer Reviews do it. It's called Coffee Stout
Fat Andy i suggest that if you want more heat dip them in scotch bonnet pepper sauce. Ive seen a hack for these beef patties done in Jamaican new York convenience store. They gently lift the lid add a couple of tablespoons of mac n cheese, sandwich the lid back on, place in a soft bread roll with salad of your choice, pickled jalapenos, spring onions, garlic sauce and Jamaican hot sauce or scotch bonnet sauce or a sweet chilli sauce 🎉🎉🎉😂
Bloody hell Andy I just tried this, so I just thought I’d watch your review on it. Can’t believe you didn’t get no heat with yours as there is definitely a medium heat with mine and I can eat a Vindaloo curry no problem!!! Maybe you had yours from a dodgy batch!!
During the programme the Aldi Boss Lady told them to bring the product in at their expected price to retail it so the original recipe was messed around with (Not Aldi's fault or the Father and Son team making them but that is how it goes)
Guys grow some testicles lol, this isn’t hot at all, its pretty mild. I think they just say mild because of the british pallet. The pastry is soo nice. Its the best one ive had. Defo cook it in the oven for best results
Hahaha, cheers mate👍. Sounds tasty, good price but just a shame about the old palm oil🤷. I recommended Tesco's chicken vindaloo on another review channel, then someone pointed out it's got palm oil in...even I'd missed it🔍🙄😔. Shame, too, 'cos it's not bad at all.
@@paulsanderson8804It's not the health aspect. It's the destruction of millions of hectares of rainforest every year to grow the palms, the soil's left barren after the palms are felled, the wildlife destruction especially in Indonesia and Malaysia where the Orangutans are killed, and their young sold as exotic pets.
In not gonna call you fat Andy but I will call you big Andy my friend.that sure did look so good thank you my good good friend lots of good cheers from Kentucky....😊
Mate your chili threshold has increased significantly after eating "bum on fire" curries. Maybe your tongue has gone num due to burning the chili taste buds. 🌶️🔥😂😂😂😂
Hi Andy nice video that flake bake Jamaican beef Patty looks good 😋 the pastry sounded nice crunchy 😋
Yeah they are good 👍🏻
Love Jamacain patty, wow another top review

Great one mate looks nice 👍🏻. Not surprised you can't taste the heat after your currys 😂😂
😂😂👍🏻
I watch that T.V. show Andy and every time I have searched for the winning products I have never found them😂. Will be trying this one too.
👍🏻 it’s nice
Went into my local Aldi looking for these, the guy said they had some in but they flew out within hours. Must be popular
They are nice 👍🏻
@@fatandy i hope the scotch bonnet comes through when i get one. Great review by the way
Hi Andy another top review here of one of my favourite things, You cant beat the flavours in a Jamaican Patty - have a great day mate :-)
It was nice, hope you are well, have a great Sunday, thanks Graham 👍🏻

I did think that, but I gave my wife half to try and she said the same thing, but don’t let that put you off because they are nice 👍🏻
Good video andy. For a pound lots of families will be buying this
Definitely can’t knock it 👍🏻

Yes I watched the programme, good reviews on TV , needed a bit of something to help shelf life , garlic did the trick.
Yeah it was interesting never knew garlic could give it extra shelf life 👍🏻
Not bad value for 99p Andy looked nice
Thanks
One of my fav flavours I make them Al the time but weight goes up😢

Sounds good, no I wasn’t worried that it didn’t have heat, I was just expecting them to have something, apart from that very nice 👍🏻
They also had to out source to a factory to produce demand needed by Aldi.
25k Aldi was asking them to make 👍🏻
These are lush and for a pound is spot on and for those like me that don’t have inferno lined mouths 😂 these are terrific snack attacks.
They are good 👍🏻
Andy you should use these patties like nan bread and deep them in your currys these patties are far to mild for you 😂
😂😂 I ain’t that bad 😂👍🏻

It might have been I remember them really nice but not really any heat so yeah maybe, i will have to have another go because they were nice 👍
good call mate
Thanks
Good review mate, but needs more spice
Definitely 👍🏻

Interesting would the original have been different?
@@fatandy yes think so and a lot tastier but that's supermarkets for you 🧐
Looks nice mate. Do they do any other flavours or just the beef?
Just that one at the moment 👍🏻

Its the best one ive had.

I did enjoy it, it’s the best one I have tried as well 👍
just thinking about the chili heat .. after you tried the Carolina Reaper .. are you sure your taste buds haven't burned out? ;)))
Might have done 😂😂👍🏻
👍🏻
I thought same ,way to mild, did wonder if they did a 3 chilly hotter version
Haven’t seen one 👍

I don't think your going to get ill for consuming Tesco. Product with palm oil in it

As soon as I see it I thought of you 😂😂👍🏻
Coffee mate same thing. Palm oil. Tesco coffee Whitener has coconut oil instead and works exactly the same. Same colour and taste
@@fatandy I'm living in your head, mate😉😁! Thanks for mentioning it though, the more airing it gets the more people become aware👍.

😂😂😂👍🏻 maybe
Poor Aunt Jermina. She got removed from the advertising on the package syrup.
But 2 black fellas on patty packaging is ok 🤷♂️
👍🏻
Aren’t the gentlemen on the package the 2 men who started the business, where as Aunt Jemima was a fictitious character, and that’s the difference.
@@JanetBrown-px2jn Not only that, but she was the stereotypical "Mammy" from the Jim Crow era of racism and segregation.
@@JonPaul1953 well said Sir!
I've had other flavors,but from different shops,why can't say $1.00
👍🏻
Looks good, but hunt the meat.
99p you can’t really knock it, but I know what you mean 👍🏻
