    Very cool! I thought it was going to be a core by itself, but it being in the globe makes it awesome! The mica and resin really shines for the mantle. Your videos are really inspiring for me for my woodworking!

    Okay. I'm a geologist. I watched mouth agape while you carved and turned the globes. Right now, my jaw is on the floor watching you create this. Me and my friends would "Thunderdome" each other to have this piece of art. I have no words. Thanks for sharing your love for your hobby with us. A true inspiration for all of us to just get out there and create something beautiful.

    What a great back to back to watch just before bedtime after a long day. First the globe, then the core. Andy...I just cannot get enough of watching you work. There is a pleasant simplicity to your vids and it has been such a joy watching you become shokunin before our eyes.

    So beautiful and such a clever idea! Your color choices were perfect, including the different shade that you randomly drizzled in. I’d love to see you make a galaxy sphere to put beside it, or maybe one that opens up to reveal a hidden compartment. Thanks so much for sharing this 💜

    I've started late with this stuff. Been doing manual and cnc machining for about 1.5 years and I'm 31, went to school and got a job at a shop I shadowed at while schooling. Your and a channel called Engineer BRUNS were what got me into it the first place. There is somthing magic about making stuff like this. Thankyou for the videos and please keep them ccoming!

      Lol, not to discredit the guy who made it, but it takes 5 seconds of googling to find a diagram of the internal structures of the earth. It doesn't instantly make him a geology expert.

      @@tristanschenkel3431 What IF? We all know its flat. I watch the SpaceX launch on Saturday and the Earth was obviously flat in the video. It's all doctored. The only true footage of what the earth WOULD look like IF we could go to space, is Asgard in Thor. The ability to fall off the edge.

      Epoxy gets pretty hot when hardening up Heat+Wood is charcoal wich is the colour black

    Hi Andy. Another innovative piece of art work. An idea that sprung to mind and yet you created it. If we as humans could cut our planet in half then this would not be far off what it would look like if you get my drift. The earths mantle and crust is depicted in this creation and the colours do it justice. Again very well done.

    Out of all of the projects I've seen of yours, this is BY FAR my FAVORITE!!!! I love space and you captured the layers of the earth perfectly in this absolutely stunning piece. I love all the different colors, the complexity and I thought it was very awesome using a metal ball as the inner core. As always Fantastic job!! You always seem to one up yourself.     Wow. Takes a man of vision to chop that globe in half. There mustve been something telling you to leave it whole but the vision of what can be achieved by just going with your gut is outstanding.

    I might try copying this, but keep the two halves together with a small Hinge, so it opens up to show the core.
