Currently I'm just being smart and frugal with my money, I'm in the green 47% over the last 13 months and l've accumulated over $700K in pure profits from DCA’ing into dividends paying blue chip stocks, ETFs, index and mutual funds. However I’ve been in the red for a while now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait.
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over $250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this present economy if you know where to look.
I completely agree. I have been consistent with my profit regardless of the market conditions. I got into the market early in 2019 and the constant downtrends and losses discouraged me, so I sold off. I got back in December 2020 and this time with guidance from an investment adviser who was recommended by a popular economist on a popular forum. Long story short, it's been years now and l've gained over $1.8 million following guidance from my investment advisor.
The thing is, I really don't like to make such recommendations. But there are plenty of independent investment advisers you can check out. I've been working with "LISA ELLEN SHAW" for about three years now. She has made decent returns for me and I believe she has the qualifications and expertise to achieve your goals. If she meets your objectives, you can continue. Always carry out your due diligence before starting out with anyone.

For a few months now I have been searching tirelessly for information on how to start investing. I even payed $1000 for a course that I now regret. It appears that there is no structured guided for beginners on how to get started in this realm. I've came across several investors making well over $250k/annual and would be grateful if anyone on here could provide insights on how to get started, identity potential stocks, when to make an entry, exit etc.
Keep it simple in the beginning. Buy something, like an index fund, and hold. Educate yourself in the meantime and elevate your risk tolerance over time.
In order to make profits from trading you need loads of experience and a well defined strategy, which most traders don't have. If you trade without the proper preparation, you're most likely to lose your money. Identify the buy/sell ratios and identify the market leaders and most importantly. Diversify! This will help you spread risk.
Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should've known that by now, nothing beats experience and that's final, personally I had to reach out to a market analyst for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.

I'm sorry for you. New guys need to realize the risks that come with all of this. You could lose it all and you could win it all. It goes both ways. Second, what works for A may not necessarily work for B and you should not be a bandwagon trader.
Hey William, always find out more in depth before putting your money somewhere or, even better, hire the services of an expert (so you give little margin for error and get investments to suit you). I made my first million earlier this year this way after much trial and error. Good luck!

Been researching day trading for the 2nd day today. Yesterday it was so confusing. Kelly is a quick clapper board but despite the speed of delivery I at least understood resistant supper uptrend downtrend in a matter of minutes.
