The range of the #AlfaRomeo 6C 1750 at the end of the twenties featured four body types - the Sport, the Berlina, the Torpedo and the Spider - in addition to Super Sport. A spider and convertible known as Gran Sport and fitting a volumetric supercharger appeared in the 4th and 5th series.Milan-based coachbuilder Zagato made several sporty-looking spiders that would become famous for their achievements on the chassis of the most powerful 6C 1750 Gran Sport.
The engine, designed by Vittorio Jano and derived from the earlier “6C 1500”, is a 1752 cc straight-6 with two overhead cams and lobe volumetric supercharger. The original 85 hp of the straight-6 was increased to 102 hp in the so-called Testa Fissa (fixed head) versions. With a weight of just 840 kg, this 1750 GS clocked a top speed of 170 km/h.

Nice job
Hello!! Your work is amazing and I have been dying to replicate some of them myself. I had one question though and would be grateful if you answered. I noticed you cut off the tabs and directly glue the pieces face to face. Does it improve the overall product??? Will keeping the tabs and using them result in a messier less pretty finished piece?? Im not using pearl paper so the faces do not stick together with superglue and I have to stick the tabs instead.
In order to prevent a step difference in the paper, the end surfaces are glued together. All paper can be glued on one side. Instant adhesive, Loctite 401 can be used.
@@30zn96 Indeed you are right!! I tried both ways and gluing end to end is certainly much more cleaner and gives a more premium look! You are the first one to use this method thanks a lot for showing us!!! As for the glue, Loctite 401 is not available but I have found a close substitute that does the job. Problem is it gets soaked up by the paper resulting in a bleed. Thanks a lot for replying though!!!!
@@arkyajyotighosh7051 practice makes loser a master. I always glue parts without tabs and it gives better look than gluing one piece on top of other. For gluing i use non-toxic "Brand Clear Glue". You need more patience to use this glue, but the effect is good and you can get very nice result. The glue is clear, so if you mess up the parts a bit, it will be not visible. The glue has it own rules. It does't glue parts instantly. You have to spread the glue on parts, wait a few minutes, and then spread a thin layer again. After that, the parts will connect instantly, wich is making the edge gluing very easy. Sorry for little mistakes. I'm from Poland and my English is not perfect.
@@Anusfallus1234 Thank you so much for the good advice!!! Will surely check out the brand clear glue... and yes although the process of sticking without tabs is tedious and patience demanding, the results are wayyy better!! thanks a lot though!! and your english is perfect!!
