Hi Heather. I'm using this stitch in my Level 3 MHK submission and I have a question about the selvedge. Seems I get a nice line (as nice as it can be with this pattern) on one side of the swatch, and no selvedge line on the opposite side of the swatch (the end of row 6). Is there something I'm missing out on? I'm using B. Walker's description of the stitch pattern. I've read your articles in Cast On looking for a solution (and all over the internet) but no luck finding an answer to the dilemma. Thanks much! --Scott

Hi Scott! Yeah, the selvedges on this stitch pattern are weird! You'll get a bit of a selvedge edge on the right side, but none at the crossing rows on the left side - unless you add an extra stitch over there to make a selvedge column (this is what I've done on the larger swatch in the video here). If you do that, make sure those sts are elongated to match the row gauge of the cross rows. You may have to play with it to get something that looks good in a flat swatch. I hope that helps!!

@@HeatherStorta Thank you! I suspected as much, but far better to ask advice when in doubt. I'm going to re-work my swatch now with an extra stitch (I'm using the Channel Island CO, so I'll just use the slip knot as the extra stitch). Thank you again!
