Storage Boxes

I made this during the first week the Lock-down with off cut material I got from a friend.
One has to be creative during the Lock-down or loose your sanity.
The boxes are made to fit into my shelving and makes more efficient use of shelving space.

You work very fast.I wish you could tell us more about the way you burnt the front of the boxes. I have the same type of bandsaw.

I used a bottomless laser engraver to burn the graphics into the wood. I used the paint program to edit the graphics and add the words. I then loaded the pictures into the laser engraver software and the engraver did the rest. The engraver does take a long time and produces smoke, so its best to leave while it works.
Those bandsaws are very handy, I like that it is not noisy, does not make sparks and dust. I also like the fact that you can carry on with another task while it cuts.
