I NEED TO MAKE THIS! It’s beautiful, Ursula!! I have an order of yarn from Hobbii coming on Thursday (different shades of blue) maybe I’ll have enough! You do such lovely work. 😊❤️🐣
I get carried away you see and forget, it has to be a short tutorial - it's not a vlog. So, still getting the balance right. But I'm glad you love it. I love telling it. And please, you're not taking up anybody else's space, leave as many comments as you like. xoxo I do that too, because I hear something, comment and then hear something else I simply must comment on so there goes another comment.
Hi dear Alison, for some reason I missed this comment and I've been hearing from UA-camrs that they seem to be "missing" comments. So glad I got this one. Thank you so much for stopping by. My goal is to invite people who are "considering getting back into crochet" or "still considering it as a hobby" to just join this awesome community. I love your channel and your tutorials myself. Just love it. Bless you my dear. xo
Sweet Claire thank you so much for your kind words. xoxo It warms my heart, for sure. You just never know when someone needs a kind word, hey. Thank you and bless you sweetheart. xoxo
Your blanket is beautiful! I’ve started one in my favorite colors from the garden. You are a wonderful teacher. Thank you for the pattern and tutorial.
Thank you so much! If you post it in our facebook group under the #SundayShare when you're done, then I will show it on my Monday livestreams - whatever anyone posted under that hashtag. Have a super week
Oh I love neutrals and red. Always looks great. If you haven't yet, then please join our facebook group and post whatever you're making. We'd love to see it.
That cobalt blue color is soooo gorgeous. So thankful for the powerhouse for God that you are. Truly. I was so touched by your Godly counsel in Haley's livestream on Saturday. I got here as quickly as I could. I am having my desktop play all of your videos to help you in the You Tube algorithm.. Much love to you. God bless you..
Oh my! That is so kind of you. I do so appreciate that. I am so grateful for Haley's channel and will visit more often. Was my first time visiting. I loved it. We've been through deep waters and that is when you can help someone out of personal experience. When life gets tough, the tough go to Jesus and "soak" in His Presence. That is my go to strategy, if you can call it that. Thank you so much for your lovely video premier that we watched. xo
Hi Ursula, so glad I found your channel. I have been obsessed with learning to do a hexagon blanket, found yours and am so happy. I started immediately as I had similar colors in my stash. Followed your tutorial and am successfully making the hexagons. My question is I can't get a clear picture in my head of how many hex's are in each row when I join them together. I would appreciate your help with this question, then i can start putting my hex's together. Thank you in advance for your help and I have subscribed to your channel.
first row has 5 hexagons, 2nd row 6 hegaxons, 3rd row has again 5 hex's, 4th row has 6 hex's and so you continue, every alternate row has 5 hexagon and the next row has 6 hexagons. if you pause the video at 15:00 seconds then you'll it laid out on the bed. I hope that helps
Hi Jeanette, thank you for watching. I give the measurement of this blanket in the tutorial, so I would think that you should measure the size you want, to compare it with the size I've made and that way one can see if you need like double the amount of yarn or just 1/3 more, etc.
Hi Sylvia. It is fine, whatever size hook or yarn combination you choose. If the yarn is thicken than what I used (and I used double knit which is a 3 weight in USA) then the blanket will be bigger, OR you can just make fewer hexagons. See? Let me know if you understand. Please join our Facebook group if you haven't yet. It is the same name as the channel: OMGrannySquare. And then we can messenger it each other. Also please post on our facebook page what you are making etc. I would love to see it.

I appreciate you sharing your skills. This is an awesome blanket. From a distance it looks like machine made; shop bought.
Thank you very much!

Hi there you do not say how many across and how many down as this is important for the final product
I want to make this. How many hexagons would I need for a queen or king sized bed cover?
Hi Steve, I would measure the king sized bed and compare it to the measurements of this blanket. How does it compare? It may be double??
Hi I was wondering how much will u need for a bigger size like a queen or king size
Hi Jeanette, thank you for watching. I give the measurement of this blanket in the tutorial, so I would think that you should measure the size you want, to compare it with the size I've made and that way one can see if you need like double the amount of yarn or just 1/3 more, etc.
@@OMGrannySquare thank u so much trying to make one for a good friend fir xmas I started lil early
Is it OK for me to use the big twist in a Aaron with a eight hook please comment on my email thank you very much
