Church of the City is a family of churches spread across the Nashville, Tennessee area that seeks to pursue the way of Jesus for the renewal of the city. Founded by pastor Darren Whitehead in 2013, Church of the City quickly became a home for many of the artists, songwriters, and creatives who call ""Music City"" home. In 2016, a collection of these artists gathered together to begin writing songs in response to all they were experiencing in the church and around the city. Church of the City's debut EP, due in early 2020, is the first recorded collection of these songs. Until I found a church which allowed me to use their shower. Although I didn't attend the church until one Sunday service. God gave me his infinite wisdom and love. He gave me purpose to live life and gave me back dignity. Love God love people

You keep feeding your spirit with the word of the living God, everyday spend time with God and his word, press into God right now like you never had before in your life call in the name of Jesus to help you.
The devil attacks us but let us not forget that God is in absolute control. The devil has to operate within a set of boundaries. If you are undergoing trials it’s possible that God is trying to teach you something. Even when others are doing things against you out of evil, God can turn it around and use it for good.
We need to listen to the Holy Spirit. I have some verses for you which I encourage you to read. This will be a long message but worth reading if you are undergoing trials.
Hebrews 12: 4-13
In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says, “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.” Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? If you are not disciplined-and everyone undergoes discipline-then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Our amazing and loving God. He also promises to be with us when we undergo trials. If we trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding, and submit to Him in all our ways He will make our paths straight. He also goes to battle with us and will not allow us to fail when we do so, and He forces our enemies to reconcile with us when we are obedient, God will deliver us every time.

When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them.

The Lord has shown His mercy countless times. Here is another perfect example of His love and how He gives us a choice. When we chose to disobey God, He gives us over to our own devices. Another biblical example of how the Lord wants us to turn to Him and how He is eager to help us but that He won’t force us to worship Him. He wants us to choose Him out of love.
Psalm 81: 6-16
“I removed the burden from their shoulders; their hands were set free from the basket. In your distress you called and I rescued you, I answered you out of a thundercloud; I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Hear me, my people, and I will warn you-if you would only listen to me, Israel! You shall have no foreign god among you; you shall not worship any god other than me. I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it. “But my people would not listen to me; Israel would not submit to me. This song came in my spirit when my Mom coded, was resuscitated 5 times, and put on life support. The pressure by her ER team to stop all heroic efforts was tremendous. We signed a DNR agreement as we decided to have her sent to ICU to give God a chance to move however He wanted to. This song was so strong in my head and spirit that I looked it up with the lyrics. The lyrics were exactly what I was praying about what we needed God to do in the name of Jesus, the name that "changes everything." I just recently lost my job because of a mistake I made. Before this incident I was absolutely complacent in my walk with God….losing my job shook my world and broken me down to my lowest….I was completely depressed and lost weight and was defeated….I decided to give my life 1000% back to Christ and he completed covered me with his joy and peace. Still out of a job at the moment but just completely surrendered back to him and running back into his arms. He is so worthy and we are so not. I know he’s making me a righteous man through this and making me disciplined…..God showed me that I am not my own and he is truly up to something great right now…just working on being patient!
I'm praying and expecting that God turns my marriage around from separation to restoration and reconciliation. That He mends my wife's brokenness and sin.

While driving on one of the main expressways in the country of 🇵🇦 Panama , My wife, Ginella and I was driving a SUV , when the front right tire went off the road, losing control of the vehicle, the SUV went off the expressway on a deep drop. Fear gripped my heart as I saw my whole life flash before me, I cried out"JESUS" ,IMMEDIATELY Ginella and I saw an Angel on the front hood of the vehicle and in a split second turned the SUV around and brought the vehicle back up on the expressway as many witnesses observed the hand of God deliver us from death. Today we have been blessed 🙌 with two beautiful girls that we would have never seen , but Praise God he turned it around!! 🙏 We will forever share this testimony to the Glory of God and his saving power!

This song has really touched me and it reminds me of when I got in a accident and the truck flip over 3 times and slipped down the street 300 feet and my big brother was bleeding 🩸 from his eye and his shoulder and my other big brother he was bleeding from his back and my brother was bleeding 🩸 from his every where and his head brain 🧠 and I was sleep when it happened and my biggest brother was praying 🙏🏾 that I came back to life and I came out and I had not a scratched on my body thank you god yes god that is a hole testimony amen 🙏🏾

I sing this song everyday with my 2 yr old.God saved my daughter and was with her every step through brain surgery. This song replays in my mind and heart and it reminds me God is with her and with us he is not leaving our side during her cancer treatment. He is turning it around.
I had covid last year and was very. Very sick. I overcome it but, due to having had covid I had headaches. Fatigue and I would get colds easily. But, lately I haven't dealt with any of that and I feel much better. God turned it around! Amen 🙌

We parted ways, as she didn't want a personal relationship with Jesus, and was only fooling herself please me.
Little did I know, this was for my protection. We would've had a divided marriage, divided household, divided our children. I believe He can work in her life, and draw her back to Him, but for now, I rejoice. I praise Him for doing something I wasn't strong enough to do. Days later, she tried to seek attention from dating apps, etc., further solidifying that I dodged a bullet. Maybe one day the Lord will draw her back, I pray this for her every day. She was always a sweet girl deep down, and I thank God for the love she gave me. God never left my side. That's all.

I was in a terrible car crash last year that killed me twice. I was d.o.a the first time and the police and paramedics brought me back and then I flat lined once in the hospital. I suffered a TBI from it all. I forgot everything from that day and before. So I lost 29 years of memories. My last memory in detail is being in heaven walking on clouds. The hospital ended up putting a rod in my skull for brain bleed and swelling. While I was in a coma all the doctors were telling my parents and loved ones that I will never be the same anymore. That if I somehow survive it all I will never walk or talk again and that I wouldn't know anything at all anymore. So my parents placed their hands around that rod in my skull and prayed hard!! They said that I started crying. Tears started rolling down my cheek. I wasn't physically there because I was in a coma but my spirit was definitely listening in.

I lost my job 2 months before I lost my baby girl during delivery after fighting for my life and that of my baby. This song and the one titled "Onye inyekam" has really lifted my spirit. Depression could have taken control of me but these songs were my consolations. God will continue to bless this lovely group for God is really using them to heal wounds.

I discovered this song a couple of weeks ago listening to CFR. I've been standing for my marriage to be reconciled since May of 2021 and on Tuesday, I meet with my attorney to discuss rhe conversation he had with my husband's attorney. (Had to involve attorneys because my spouse ran and won't talk to me or anyone associated with me, our pastor, church family, friends, etc.)
My attorney's office told me I didn't need to bring anything and I have no idea what Tuesday at 3pm central will hold but I still believe God is up to something and our future is innthe palm of His hands and He loves us.
This song is such a blessing and a testimony for me. The Lord has turned my life around and shows me how much He loves me everyday. The Lord is faithful, and there is nothing too hard for Him. Thank you Jesus.
