    So nice, I had a 71dart swinger with the same front end. Very nice, my interior is the same color in my 67 belvedere.

    I prefer this demon over the new generation. just what if you built another one just like this but with modern demon engine you'll have a real sleeper on your hands good job and salute to you bro.👍

    A college buddy had a '71 Dodge Dart with a 318 4-bbl and dual exhausts...
    It was a mean little bugger even with the "little" 318 but the ones with the
    340 "Giant-Killer" V8 or a 383 were just stinky-stupid fast as the Dart only
    weighed about 2700 - 2800 pounds

    2 of my best friends when we were 17 (so in 1995) split this car for $200 from another one of our friends. $100 each it was the 2nd day they had it only one of them had the chance to drive it since they bought it. 4 of my friends and we were going to the pond to burn one. 3 of my friends were in a F150 in front of me and my other friend in the demon. The f series was talking a left at the stop sign. i told my buddy to pass him on the outside. since he was turing and it was nighttime. you could see no cars were coming. Peeling out around the f series he broke it loose to much and over corrected and shot up the curb doing about 40mph into a tree about 4 feet high. The good old days when you could find the muscle cars for $500.since we could drive 1995 -1999 or 2000 They started getting crazy expensive after that. i got my 72 camaro im trying to finish. if it came out half this good id be stoked.

    I wonder if that was a factory demon or a Dart replica. Either way, awesome build.

    All the good muscle cars looked like they where going 90 miles an hour parked........the dusters and demons........ Looked like concrete K rails.

    Why didn't you put the white stripes on side and back of car. Yours must be 318 cu in , no rally dash plain jane Demon. You should have gone all the way with 340 cu in sport model. But still love the 71 Demon.

  • @theoriginalmungaman
    @theoriginalmungaman 4 роки тому

    Thats not a 340! All small block Mopars have distributors in the back of the engine. Therefore this is not a restoration. To restore means return to original!

      Hey bozo, how about restoration w/ some tasteful upgrades, i.e. bigger engine & T-5 tranny.

      I mean... it's got a 440 in it. Don't think anyone's worried about the k-member not being original.

      I suspect this car started life as a /6 car. Someone went V8 with the suspension from a '73-'76 A body before this rebuild.
