Great video! This is the first game that I’ve had to go into training mode and practice not only combos but specific situations. Very helpful how you show what settings to use for specific things to work on
One quick thing. Idk about everyone else, but I've been able to hit spin nuckles on people to punish fireballs on reaction. You obviously have to react quickly, but its not impossible. You can also punish fireballs with her lvl.3 on reaction. I think its safer to go for the spin nuckle on reaction than to go for the read, because if you keep trying to guess your opponent will probably bait you.
yea i def go for reaction if im a decent distamce away. I may guess more after ive picked up on my opponents style / pattern more but yea i def dont try to give em too much to read and bait me back
i just picked up Chun to try and start learning her...while her gameplan is pretty simple and im decent in neutral, and all the fudamentals like anti air and her fireball, i find her combos a real pain in the ass, too many little nuances to focus on, like having to use the stance and havng to time certain things just right, with delays, and certain inputs being a pain physically because of how you have to do them on the pad, for example, doing her
Hey Chris I know this isn’t about leverless but I see you have leverless tips and I’m hoping for some advice as I’m new to leverless 3 questions 1. Do you use your right thumb to jump? This seems more intuitive for me and easier but I also feel like your right hand has a lot to do as is 2. How do you personally recommend hand position to start? I have heard so many people say your resting right hand position should be fingers on L/M/H punches, and your thumb resting on light kick. When you want to jump, just move thumb down. Your index and thumb do light punch and light kick. Middle finger does medium punch/kick. Ring does heavy punch/kick. 3. Where do you put the parry and di macro? This is a hard part for me as my right pinky is mad weak lol Ty!!
Thx for watching! 1. I use my right thumb. 2. Id recommend experimenting and settle with whatever is comfortable. I like to double tap my buttons (old KOF habit from the arcades) so my hand position changes a lot based on what I’m doing. 3. I use the button next to HP for parry and the button next to HK for DI. I use my pinky finger to push them both. Hope that answers your questions!
@@Chris_F thank you! Great reply and help. Only thing i wish i would have done is look at boxes that have another button sort of near the thumb for quick DI access. My right pinky feels so dumb, like it’s never been used before. i also use right thumb to jump and seems to work well. Leverless is both amazing but also obvious takes some skill to get used to. On day 1, I was hitting QCF, DPs, crouch DP without shortcut etc. without shortcuts cuz your vids suggested that at first and I think that’s a great idea. Then I started looking up techniques people use (planking, sliding, etc) and all of a sudden I struggle with QCF. So for anybody that gets a leverless, my advice is just play with it for a while, it’s more intuitive than people think. Takes some .. rhythm I guess.
Are you interested in some replay analysis? I'm a master rated Ken player and I think I've hit a plateau, I'm not sure what to do to improve. If you are interested let me know
@@Chris_Fhey Chris. Update since my post. I’m plat3 right now. 15641 LP. My win rate is 56.14 this phase but it feels much worse than that. Struggling with: 1) matchups Deejay, Dhalsim, Jamie and Ed mostly. 2) missing a ton of lvl 3 confirms that cost me wins 3) not knowing where my frame advantages are 4) mental my wins feel good but my losses make me feel like I’ll never win again lol.

Glad I could help!
This is awesome, I am just a Gold player, but now I can look into the mind of a plat player! Thanks!
Glad I could help!
Your videos are amazing! Short and concise but with so much good information, keep it up please :)
More to come!
Thanks for this video. After I get my Kim to master I’ll be starting with Cammy
Let me know if you have any questions! I’ve been doing replay reviews during my twitch streams lately so drop in if you’d like some advice

Sure send me your replay ID and I’ll watch it on stream (check my twitter for stream times)
Me watching this video while being in lab with Cammy and JP as my sparring partner haha
Title is a lie, I already got to diamond and this was still helpful.😆
Thx for watching anyway! Glad it was helpful!
As a Plat 3 Cammy, I highly appreciate this. The part about whiff punishing (my whiff attempts whiff lol) and Spin Knuckle as a read definitely helps.
Really glad you found this useful! Keep it up and you’ll get into diamond soon I’m sure!
Practice is key!!
Absolutely!!
Ahora necesito un video de como vencer a cammy
I think many low masters can't do all these either consistently. Is cammy that hard to rank up?
No, I think cammy is a pretty straight forward simple to rank up character. She’s really solid!
I just got to plat and struggling big time :(
What are you struggling with?
