Your tutorial videos are really awesome. Each video includes practice methods, which have been incredibly helpful to me. I hope to see more tutorial videos
WOW!! Thank you SO much for the VERY generous super! I’m so happy to hear that you find my guides helpful! I am going to release more guides, but is there anything you’d like to see from me in particular? Thank you once again for supporting me!
I remember last year a pro streamer talked about him practicing counter hits by seeing the message pop up. Man fighting games has a ton of stuff to look for lol
Good info on CHs. Sloppy KD pressure from the opponent gives you chance to get one, huh. Yeah, I'd likely have sloppy pressure as well. Thanks for the vid.
Punish counter is definitely easier but regular counter is important too IMO. Please let me know if this video helps you rank up! What rank are you now?
@@Chris_F I recommend trying out LSFG ("Lossless scaling" on steam) for 120 fps in sf6. It doesn't add any input delay and doesn't interfere with the 60 fps bound in game logic at all. It looks particularly amazing in this game because of the static camera angle and the nature of fighting games using key frame style animations, which are always the same. Animations look A LOT smoother. It helps my eyes to keep better track on what's happening on the screen since sf6 can be quite fast. Once you go back to 60 fps however, it will look very choppy. Almost like 40-50 fps. That's a negative. Especially when playing offline on other setups.
Good video, man. One question: in these exercises, would it not be better to set the dummy to "block after first attack?" Of course you could just watch the combo counter, but this would make it easier to tell when you're late on the counterhit link.
Hey Chris, I finally reached Masters with Juri on 2 different accounts. I was getting hard stuck on Diamond 4 for days, felt frustrated and thought that I didn't deserve my current rank, so I made an alt account and got calibrated to Diamond 1, and finally got to Master after 33 hrs on the new account. Having the confidence of hitting Master, I went back to my main and speedran Diamond 4 and 5. Sorry for the babble, I just wanna let you know how much your content has helped me rank up. Next goal is to get at least 1700MR.
CONGRATS!!! You should be so proud of yourself! All I do is put out guides, but you’re the one who put in the work and became a better player. Thank you for this comment! Comments like this are what motivates me to create UA-cam content and stream on twitch! Let me know when you hit 1700MR or feel free to ask for advice when I stream😃
how can people react to 17 frame windows? I think you are kind of ignoring the ffact that MEdiums have more narrow link windows even on CH than heavies

Fighting games absolutely have a high skill ceiling
Having a strong CH game sets up the walk-up throws and shimmys 🤘🏿 Its all connected with the footsies
Put the fear in em

Love your videos Chris
Thank you so much!!
Thanks Chris, succint and great video.
The text above common CH situations was a bit hard to read with its colours.
Glad you liked it!
Thank you so much for the feedback, I think I’ll make some changes for my future videos. Much appreciated!!!
Great video, i will work on it. Punish counter is easier to do. I think it will be easier to do when challenging the opponent buttons.

Love the videos man. I’m curious do you play on 1080 p or 1440? I heard the former is better for input lag?
I play on 1080p @165hz with v-sync off. It’s the best low-lag settings I can get with my current setup. Thanks for watching!!

The training mode settings are just a suggestion from me, feel free to change the settings to whatever you’re more comfortable with!

It is possible with both practice and predictions based on your opponent’s play style. It isn’t easy but if it’s definitely possible
