Hey James, thanks for reviewing all of your campsites. We have made a note of a lot of places that yall have been to possibly travel there, and now we have learned of one that we dont need to travel too. I was not real impressed with Ft Sumner State Park. Earlier this year we were traveling across Texas and I targeted that free campground in Crosbyton, however I missed the turn off and Im not much on turning around, so we overnighted at Silver Falls rest area right down the road. They had a very nice scenic hike there and the small waterfall was barely trickling. Thanks again for your reviews. Keep em coming.
Thanks, that’s why we do it, along with having something to look back on. I wasn’t really impressed either but we would go back if ever in the area again. It definitely wasn’t the worst we’ve been to. Yes, we passed that little rest area a couple times and have thought it would be a good little lay over. You guys take care!!
