As a Sunflower shipper, Suntan is one of the cutest ships I have seen, it's adorable, wholesome, and just happiness all around. Tbh probably the healthiest dynamic out of all the Sunny ships. There's a reason why I like Suntan the most. Kel saved Sunnys life. He's the reason he got them out the door in the first place. In the grand skeme of things he indirectly saved Sunny and Basil. Plus helped bring the group back together in three days! I know the ending is up to interpretation, but the fact is it was all started by Kel. So if anyone deserves Sunnys love, it's Kel

Honestly, I thought Kel was just a brat (albeit still lovable I guess) in the dream world, and Aubrey was really adorable (though sometimes a mild tsundere at Kel's antics. :p), but then... it got flipped on it's head in the real world/time skip. ._. Kel (and Hero too I think) are like the nicest people, and the former is like your only partner most of the time and the most well-adjusted person despite the trauma of dealing with Mari's death, and well... Aubrey may have changed a lot, but the real Aubrey we all know and love is still in there deep inside, and everyone kind of balances out with good points and bad points I guess. :?
