i believe the reason you do the sigma stages first is because after you beat the skiver Zero gains a completely useless move that makes it impossible to SDC.
It's a Tool-Assisted Run, so the run itself was made using save states, slowdowns, and so on. So basically he can dash-cancel on the first possible frame every single time, which leads to what appears in the footage. It's a neat trick that can only be done in X4 - X6. I don't think it works in X7 or X8.

Is a TAS and yes, is possible defeat the firsts 3 sigma levels before the mavericka but you needs the enigma canon destroys the eurasia colony

Its funny how people are upset when they find out this was made with tools. I mean, he clearly states on the video name. Its a show to see how awesome would be if a super human played the game.
Also, its not easy as its look, TAS runs like those takes several months to be completed

I know this is a TAS, but... god damnit, I can never get the Enigma to destroy the colony, even with all the parts. D: Still, though, this was fun to watch.
I was wondering is there an X6 Zero items TAS? Because it's pretty much the hardest task in the game to get every heart tank for Zero there.
there are a lot of reasons why megaman x5 feels kinda lazy and subpar to other megaman X games but for some reason yeah I really feel something different about x5 that makes it my favorite of all I still play it sometimes when I'm bored.
I agree with Mattrex's expression: "The F---???" Especially after X came up all "Oh I'm gonna stop you zero!" and just fell over... Zero was all "There's a reason you're B rank and I'm something they just had to make up!!"
@zeroblaze777 my next question is what do the levels of bosses mean? lol. i did a quick search and didnt come up with anything.
There's a lot of things I like about X5, but it's also one one of my least X games. There's a lot of cool stuff they added to the series with this and the story was cool in concept, but a lot of it was executed so poorly. Many things could've been better, but it's still an ok game.
Kenji Inafune literally just told his team to finish off the X series with this game. Not much thought was put into it other than building up the Zero series.
I think he did it with a lot of savestates but there was another way I think if I recall correctly you have to kill the maveriks on the right first ( even if they tell you to kill the 4 on the left ), then the ones on the left and the enigma will succeed.
TAS = Tool assisted speedrun. While real TA requires good execution, TAS requires good planning. He does the saber canceling frame perfect, thats why it's so fast. It's no biggie for him
that enigma shot actually taking down the colony only happened to me once after hundreds of playthrough across the 9 years I've played this game.... Anyone else think X5 have that certain charm that all other X games doesn't have? Can't quite put it to words but playing X 5 just feels different. ;O

If memory serves, it lessens the damage he takes, his weapons hit harder, and he has the "Shot Eraser" where his saber slashes make certain laser attacks disappear. I think there are a few other things but I can't remember.

To make Enigma succeed, is it just a lot of SaveState resetting untill it worked, or is there like a Coderbeaker code?

I love megaman and playing like how it should. This was a BS run with added shit that aided the player. Even with the side to side saber, there's no way anybody could do it that fast. No way!
Yeah... It says in the title TAS or "tool assisted speedrun"
Two things, he's using dash canceling to reset the attack animation and attacking again to do tons of damage really quickly and he's using a program which keeps all his commands prerecorded so he can create a "perfect" run. It's interesting and helps you learn what is possible in the game.

yes, it's TAS, also with the normal cheat tool like cheat engine, there is a thing i like to call Free key, which will allow you to rapidly doing stuff while holding keys instead of madly crash the keyboard lol :)
Gia Huy Trần I just bought MMX Collection for PS2 and I am able to do it now without TA
I just needed to changed the Dash Button to L1 since now I'm used to playing MMZ
But yeah its possible without Tool Assist
