And the big trick is that the 'classic' was also 20 years old and could have been wildly successful on a '2000 Intentions'/'Chinese Democracy' NewGNR album. But victory was stolen from the jaws of success by record executives, producers, and managers.
I think it's more like 1. Get Back Together 2. Play live and get used to each other again 3. Update parts of old tracks in the studio 4. Learn how to be a band again and write songs together
@@jays.3052 yes, Absurd was shit. But I’m seriously convinced it was intentional. I mean, it’s telling us as much in the damn title. And they are not stupid people…they have to know that their first “new” (as far as I’m concerned these are all new when being officially released for the first time) song in 30 years should not be something like My World. They also know that people have been waiting literally generations for this and nothing would actually live up to the hype. So they did it on purpose - completely crush the hype and then anything normal that comes after will be golden.

As tempers fade and lies forgiven
No cause embraced could break what we had
In its place a storm is liftin'
I would've thought you could be more of a man

Had to be a fool, had to throw it all away

Remember It too! It was called "checkmate" ..good times
Checkmate! Followed by a clip of someone saying “fuck you!”
Definitely Guns N´Roses represents what rock n´roll actually means. They have shown a true rocker soul since 1985.
So true.
So glad GnR is making songs again, it's great to see them back
This was good. I hope Axl has some more killer vocal tracks in the vault Slash and Duff can add their tracks too.
Feel lucky at 51 to hear this. From the first album they've delivered the goods. Seen em in several tours ,first with Aerosmith to the last being the initial Democracy line up. They always hit Detroit and I always went. Even saw Izzy live with the Ju Ju Hounds. These two "new" remixes on older tunes are the bomb. This may be older ,but thats Slash and that's all that matters.
Wait, what?! I wasn't expecting it to be like this! Can Axl just do that every time he sings? My gosh that was insane!

The Plan:
1 - Get back together
2 - Release a shit "new" song first to clear out 30 years of expectations
3 - Release a classic GnR banger that will make every real GnR fan smile in relief
4 - To the moon!
And the big trick is that the 'classic' was also 20 years old and could have been wildly successful on a '2000 Intentions'/'Chinese Democracy' NewGNR album. But victory was stolen from the jaws of success by record executives, producers, and managers.
I actually dig Absurd the more I listen to it

@@jays.3052 yes, Absurd was shit. But I’m seriously convinced it was intentional. I mean, it’s telling us as much in the damn title.
