What about a video on "best ways to choose your scent of the day" where you discuss the weather, scenario or destination, and even the type of clothing (or colors) one might want to combine with a certain set of fragrances. If it doesn't exist already.
No mention of longevity in any of these fragrances. To me longevity in a fragrance is what makes a fragrance a top notch fragrance. If you can get 6 hours of longevity on a designer one, that’s a great buy. Also 8 to 12 hours on an expensive niche, that’s definitely worth the purchase.
@@amedz2979 maybe! As far as I’am concerned, if anyone buy any product and find out that isn’t worth buying because of performance, why spending your hard earned money to buy something that isn’t worth the purchase in the first place. For a cologne to be worthwhile, it has to perform as a fragrance period not as as drinking a glass of water.
These are cheapies though, like 40% of the price of a regular designer fragrance and those may not last that much themselves. But if it's not expensive, then you can always carry a small bottle around and apply 2-3 times through the day. I personally love fresh uplifting scents and those never last, so it became the norm for me.
Both the Missonis are in my "dumb reach" shelf (looking at shelf) along with Cedrat Boise, Nautica Voyage, PDM Sedley, YSL L'Homme and Terre D'Hermes Parfum. My sons also tend to raid said shelf if they're headed somewhere so it's a "low risk selection" that smell great no matter what.
Just bought Boisee this weekend after smelling it through a sampler a while ago. Just couldnt wait to get my hands on a full bottle! Girlfriend loves it too!
Used up a 100ml of armaf hunter intense edt today! On line it's now listed as EDP for $26 for a 100ml. Great throw in if you want to toss in a cheapie.
Didn't get to vote but surely boucheron Jaipur home edt should be in there! Annick menardo, classic, timeless masculine classic , plus it's laughably cheap for the quality and something not nearly enough people are talking about. Great video as always, am edging closer to missoni as something I definitely need to get my nose on, of course adg profumo still right up there for me. Just stunning.
Just found a really solid “cheapie”…. I picked up ‘Guess 1981 Los Angeles’ at Marshall’s for only $20… Both me and my buddy think it smells like a softer version of Eros with a light touch of amber. Very solid anytime scent bc it’s not overwhelming. For only $20 it’s a big winner!
Some great picks there. I'd also add Lattafa Khamrah. For the price it's a steal. Entire presentation, box and bottle are great and the juice is excellent. Way above what it costs you.
Boisee is underrated af! It smells so nice, my girlfriend loved it on me! Tbh the whole Gentleman line is top notch, but Boisee and Reserve Priveé are magical.

Love your content! Got me into collecting! Would love to see a video about summer-fragrances for all of us (or is it only me?) that don't like citrus or aquatic scents? :D
Love the Encre Noire line. I agree that they are not the safest blind buys, as they're not among the many 'nice & sweet' type scents. Niche quality? Not so sure. The bottles I've had certainly have longevity (performance) issues. If they could solve that problem, then yes... niche quality. An excellent trio, but you might want to buy travel size atomizers for them.
Encre noire got my attention on the first sniff something unique about it , another one is dunhill icon they have character to stand head to head against the niche
@@persieprince9345 I've been wanting to get my nose on Dunhill Icon. Almost blind bought it... but then I remembered I promised myself I'd stop that (stung enough times).
I'd have to add Halloween man and Halloween man X. Both are amazing and super affordable. Been wearing Halloween man all october and gotten several compliments.
Fun story, whenever Moustache first started getting a lot of hype, I accidentally bought a huge bottle of Moustache EDT instead of the EDP. Which smells like a lemon scented disinfectant wipe. One of my worst purchases ever. Consider this a WARNING. The Eau De Toilette is cheaper for a reason - smells awful, and nothing like the Eau De Parfum. Also, I would say to people considering any of the Encre Noir fragrances - these are not mass appealing scents. Yes, they smell of high quality, but as someone who owns the original I can say that most people do not enjoy this smell as it’s a bit too dark and earthy. As a collector I’m glad to have it in my collection, but I rarely wear it because the smell is not super pleasing and I have to be in a certain mood to enjoy.
Yeah to be honest I was kinda salty that the reviewers hyping it weren’t more specific about it being specifically the EDP they were hyping without even mentioning there was an EDT.
I wouldn’t call either Moustache “mass appealing” but the EDP smells much more pleasant than the edt and is pretty likely to get you a compliment. If it’s mass appeal and female attention you want, I’d suggest Azzaro The Most Wanted.
Not sure if you’re asking about Moustache EDP or The Most Wanted. But I don’t think either are overly masculine. Unless you think scents like Dolce & Gabbana The One edp are too masculine. Not saying moustache smells like that fragrance, but as far as how masculine it is, it’s in the same vein. There is enough sweetness from the vanilla and a floral note from Bulgarian rose in Moustache EDP to keep it from being overly masculine smelling. It does have a slightly more mature scent, as in it’s not something you could picture someone under 25 or someone who doesn’t have their life together wearing. The Most Wanted is very sweet with a toffee note but also has a cleanness too it that women love. Not overly masculine. Just a great Fall/Winter or cooler weather night out frag.
A better alternative and closer DNA for YSL Tuxedo (Rochas Moustache EDP) is Lattafa/Maison Alhambra's Kismet. $30, beautiful box & bottle and amazing scent.
Rochas Moustache EDP ist really amazing, definitely worth the hype. My favorite scent right now. Cold Weather Issey Miyake Scents are also worth mentioning, most of them are great
Had the same problem. I hit 80 bottles and realized how insane I was being. Started selling decants and bottles. I've narrowed it down to 50 with more work to do. In the long run you'll have 10-20 favorites or less. Try to find those in your current collection and chill. Trust me.
I have to order profumo strictly online now. I guess it’s not sold at stores in the U.S. anymore. Super weird so I get it whenever I get a chance and especially when getting a deal
Both Missoni’s you could technically own and then just find a classy fragrance like Fragrance World Suits and then a gourmand or two and you could be set with your collection. Of course, I can’t abide by that with as many as I own, but I think your average person could.
I have the Rochas eau de toilette. It's a nice barbershop style fragrance but there is a particular note i don't like. Is the eau de parfum exactly the same?

Ok. This may be in a different league from the mass appealing designers on this list, but when you factor in packaging, bottle design and quality never mind the amazing juice itself, it’s hard to beat Khamrah from Lattafa Perfumes. $50 (from discounters) makes this absurdly cheap.
