Ash my Holy Grail fragrance is Ganymede. I picked it up a short time ago and it blew me away. Just love it from the opening to the dry down. Incredible scent

The bottle for Lalique Hommage a L'homme is based on an earlier 1930's art deco bottle by Lalique, so that's cool. And there is another, special version of Hommage a L'homme that is an even more artsy bottle with extrait concentration juice that costs nearly $2000. But Hommage a L'homme is a violet bomb. It's almost tea-like in its scent. There is no "gasoline" vibe because it's the combination of violet leaf and chamomile that produce that Farenheit like gasoline accord. None of that here. But by "holy grail" I usually refer to my Best of Genre scents. Like best Amber; best Leather; best Fougere, etc. So...... Holy grail for me is Issey Miyake Nuit d'Issey Pulse Of The Night..designer or not man listen, lol, that stuff is heavenly. It's also impossible to find, I mean usually you see a few pop here and there of discontinued stuff but not this one, it's like it never existed. I've been nursing a 10ml decant forever.
Thinking about some of my favorites made me realize how much I love rose. Widian Gold II Sahara, Moschino Toy Boy and BDK Tabac Rose are three of my holy grails, each featuring rose. Also throwing in Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza and Orto Parisi Seminalis. I know what the latter is supposed to smell like, but I get creamy Sandalwood with mild white florals and a touch animalic. I love it
My absolute favorite was Play by Givenchy. I went to order more and it was discontinued. I ordered Gentlemen Only and that’s my favorite right now. I’m going to also get Gentleman also.
I have two holy grails that are vintage. Vintage Guerlain Habit Rouge EDT, which can still be picked up reasonably on eBay, and YSL Pour Homme, which is not reasonable anymore. Luckily, I have a couple of extra bottles of both tucked away but I don't know what I'll do when I can't replenish either.
Oud in Bourbon by Scents of Wood. I didn't like the smell of Oud until I came across this one at a niche boutique at my local mall. I even wore it at my wedding. Something about it is addicting. There's a mix of Oud, Coffee, Vanilla, and Patchouli that isn't too strong or skunky.
Hate on it all you want but I'll say it. Invictus Platinum. I think it smells more like 1 mil Lucky than the original or any other Invictus. One of my favorite designer scents. Performance is way above average. Could easily be a signature scent. Great video, as always!
I love and own Amouage interlude black iris but i found a decant I forgot i had of original Amouage interlude man and I really am enjoying it thinking about getting a full bottle
Overture is my overall fave right now, I like Ambre Sultan a lot but prefer Eau De Beux, would like to see a EDP version but love it so much I just don’t really care. For my next niche pick up I’m torn between Journey Man and Tobacco Royale. Lattafa peaked my interest with Al Qiam Gold in their pride line 😮
My advise colleting fragrances for years. Buy ones based on geological location. I live in a warm weather place and even though i have some for the winter i never seem to go use them much. As a matter of fact i have to get rid of some of them and kept only a couple. Hard to pull off some of those cold weather frags ones without killing the whole room.

The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading

I got a decant of tobacco royal and it smelt very medicinal to me, I could not get on with it and I enjoy tobacco fragrances.
