I read a letterbox review that said "Thanks Nani for being a Telugu actor and not a Telugu Hero" and I think that is 100% true/beautiful all at once.

Nani in a Mani Ratnam and a Sanjay Leela Bhansali epic, each, is what any cinema lover would want to manifest , and something I personally would love to see.
The man is a mix of being passionate about cinema and acting, sensitive and talented enough, and with looks, to really make him seem a fit in their frames, vision and stories.
And with the X factor being him being a versatile actor enough to fit in almost any sort of role, any shade and movie
Hero, hero's friend or brother, character actor, villain, romance, action, light hearted, period epic , he is that one glove that fits everywhere, almost as consistent as a film camera in a film devoid of what the film is .!!
I really hope something brings them together for at least one movie of their's, given on another note, that from Telugu if there is that one actor with a natural appeal, versatility after Allu Arjun who can kinda act in any industry, it's Nani**
The reason I love watching baddy's interviews is the intensity with which he LISTENS..OH MY GODDD..so much respect!!! And he always points out if the guest says something meaningful or unique and praises it ...I just love, love, LOVE baddy and all his interviews !!!! Just wish they were all in English 😢😢like this one ...baddy sir if u read this comment please pleaseeee either conduct all interviews in English or provide subtitles so we poor north Indians can understand as well !!!

The point by nani about remakes at 27:00 , brilliant.. Thats a point that industry people need to pick up well. Kabir singh was probably the last of the remakes which became a huge blockbuster inspite of the original being such an monstrous well known hit .
Arjun Reddy didn't have a dub which has 100 mn views on UA-cam, or already Telecast in TV Channels....

baradwaj always interviews Maniratnam's fans😊. as head of filmcompanion south he did not do a single roundtable with Telugu content .last year he oddly called dulquer to represent Telugu cinema. I really think he does a Telugu roundtable this month with Priyadarshi, Nani, Rajamouli, Shobu Yarlagadda and Nagvamsi.
Rajamouli is not a good filmmaker. Just coz Spielberg Cameron liked it , it’s not a good cinema
@thevindranrames3977 He's a Telugu filmmaker. He knows his audience, and his audience loves his movies. It doesn't matter. There are other filmmakers who can do other type of films. Let him do his work his way.

When he was talking about acting in mythological movies, I guess he would be a great choice to play the role of krishna. He has that divine smile in him.
Varun Teja has yet to score a single solo hit worth mentioning in his film career. Fida is undeniably Shekar's success and Tholi Prema was a musical hit, yet Varun because of his mega background gets to be part of high-budget films. Meanwhile, outsiders like Nani and Vijay Devarakonda face merciless trolling for an average or a flop, with people outright saying they don't deserve to be actors. That's the mega reality of this Telugu Cinema Industry.
Also as a Malayali studying in Tamil Nadu, I can't help but marvel at the immense popularity Nani enjoys among non-Telugu students in our university, ranging from Punjabis to Malayalis. He stands as the sole Telugu actor admired by our diverse student body. While Telugu students are big time Mabu fans and always find themselves schooled when they talk about Mabu's acting.
