- On today's Sunday Vibes we take a look back at the last month of action in the Premier League and the January transfer window, as well as the main stories from La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga!
What has the first month of 2024 taught us? Kevin De Bruyne is back with a bang - is it time to consider him the Prem's greatest ever midfielder? Conor Bradley is also the latest potential superstar to emerge from the Liverpool academy, and what effect will Jürgen Klopp's resignation announcement have on the Premier League title race?
We also take a look at Jim Ratcliffe's first moves at Man United, Brighton's faltering form under potential Klopp replacement Roberto De Zerbi, the bad mood around Crystal Palace and Roy Hodgson, and the effect of the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability Rules on a quiet January window.
Finally we touch on the worrying scenes at Barcelona and Napoli, and beg the question - is Xabi Alonso and Leverkusen's steam about to run out in the Bundesliga title race?!

Who do you think are favourites for the Premier League title?! 👇
History suggests it will be Man city.
Heart says Liverpool.
Arsenal with a shot as well.
Big game this evening, a lot at stake.
West Ham
Great show, but I'm getting tired of comments of "lack of investment" from supporters(ie Palace). Luton's first 11 and subs that came on cost 8 million. By comparison Palace first 11 and subs on cost 178 million. Burnley total? 130m. Everton? 144m. Forest? 157m - it's not what you spend,it's how you spend and run your club - hence clubs falling foul of FFP
Eventually (at least I hope), the lads are gonna pull an Inter Miami and reunite under a different youtube channel!
They basically already are on Zac's channel

It gives me good memories to see some team talk footage. Back then when we had continental club, team talk, Sunday vibes and Monday vibes; it was peak FD IMO.
Gives me hope that this level can be re-attained. Keep up the great work 👍
Kdb Wolfsburg days are forgotten and he has played so many positions too, rw, mid, false 9. Surprised by your takes
Honestly… broke the Bundesliga record, won poty over prime Bayern days over lewa, muller, Neuer etc. Won wolsburg 2 out of 3 trophies in their entire history. This is one of the best players of all time flat out
@Prime1Wunna finally someone who actually has ball knowledge 👏
But he’s not the most complete midfielder when he refuses to tackle
Bradley's is the most recent example of what has been Liverpool's most underappreciated strength this season; the ability of the fringe players and academy guys to just step into the team effortlessly. We've had to cope with injuries to Thiago, Matip, Robertson, Trent, Jota, Tsimikas, Bajcetic, while Endo and Salah have been out on international duty, and yet theres been virtually no drop off in quality on the pitch. Which is also rather ironic given squad depth has been the main point of criticism during the previous years.
Ironic to have the Sky Protect advert in the background
Watching this after the arsenal Liverpool game. Blowing smoke up liverpools defence only for them to be awful is peak predicting
Love the John Babb cameo
Another Sunday Vibes, another belter. Team FD 🔥
Are two people a team?
Big up the lads!
Big up Sonny Talks Spurs, and big up 2024
Tell us how Brighton would win Serie A again ?
Lmao
Brighton is just like southampton. They were terrific and then keep on selling players till they cant get the right players to replace.
BEST. START. TO. A. VIDEO. EVER!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏
Lamine yamal is borderline world class at 16, this is not normal
Very interesting
“VVD is fit and on form” funny hearing that after the game against Arsenal today
One bad game and suddenly he’s shit, rival fans are beyond delusional haha
Saying kdb will leave as the premier league’s best midfielder is a nonsense way for non city fans to avoid admitting that he’s already the best midfielder that the league has ever seen
While I agree with Joe that Barca’s spending has been HIGHLY questionable, you cannot rely on 16/17 year olds week in and week out. As quickly as Barcelona produce a gem, they are just as quick to run them into the ground because they just aren’t that physically developed yet and we’re seeing it now with Yamal playing 5 straight 90s at 16 years old. At some point you need a senior/older player to come in and balance the playing time. At the same time, that senior player didn’t need to be a 60+ million winger (Raphi). It’s poor planning that Laporta is trying to sell as “necessary” to uphold Barca’s legacy but he’s just throwing away the club’s future.
Completely agree, although I did disagree with Joe at 2 points.
How can you argue with the timing of bringing in Roque when you have someone like Lewandowski at the club who can pass on advice and likely will leave soon anyway due to wage and age so imo it's perfect timing as it gives Roque time to adapt as well.
Also whilst I understand looking back now at the signings and not understanding the need for them but FD were praising Kounde and the Barca defence loads last season yet one bad Season and "why did Barca buy Kounde?". They even admitted it's likely a bad patch so out of all the signings to criticise Kounde isn't it especially as he'll likely hold his Value
P&S is necessary, no doubt, but definitely affected this window. It does show how much trouble is likely coming to Chelsea and City. As a Spurs supporter I'm quite happy with this window, but I do wish we could have sold off more players (Sessignon, Gil, Reguilon, Ndombele, etc)
As much as I loathe Villa, Douglas Luis” outside of the right foot assist was a thing of beauty.
another unreal pod
palace are great. the investments into the stadium and facilities are brilliant. but it’s tiring seeing them hire hogson after a manager doesn’t work out and then giving him an extension. it’s wasting time and money. the players he buys may not work into the next managers plans
That thumbnail man😂😂
Rip Conor Bradley dad
How much for your jacket Joe? Unbelievable piece of drip
Bradley looks like a serious player
With PSR, the big boys wont spend ridiculously but then they will compete in the same market as the others. So players who have the final decisions will choose big boys more times than not right ?
Barca isn't flourishing, but bear in mind we are missing at least 4 regulars and more through injuries, including out best player MATS
Vitor Roque was still a necessary signing given that we have no future No. 9. But I agree on the imprudence of the Raphinha and Kounde signings rather than back La Masia! Visca Barca ❤️ 💙 😢
Gakpo is BOSS on the left tho too. Last game he played there he ran the entire first half.
I'd be tempted to sell Diaz if he can't move over to the right if Salah goes to Saudi.
Diaz is clear of Gakpo, diaz top 4 winger in the league and I am a City fan. Guys unreal.
I love gakpo but he’s had a rough season.
Joe ♥️
Steven Gerrard’s ability to play in multiple different positions with the defensive involvements as well as offensive ability with Goals & Assists makes him a more complete player. Also, he was clutch and turned up trumps in big moments. That makes him the greatest in my opinion.
Not the titles to go with it but that just tells you that loyalty comes at a price. Courted by the biggest clubs in Europe including PL Clubs.
GOAT 🐐
Lamine yamal is an insane talent. And vitor roque can smell goals. Happiest ive been as barca fan in maybe 10 years.
THIS is the happiest you’ve been ? not when barca won a treble in 2015 😂 exciting future for them on the field but off the field they’re an absolute mess
@@matthewwils oh sorry 9 years. This sadness has engulfed my mind. After that one night in rome nothing has ever been same.
Barca has a top academy and alot of the lads coming through are hungry to play, barca board just lost confidence and got use to buying players

“Shouldn’t have bought anyone, back La Maria to the hilt!”
The team has has so many injury/personnel issues and Xavi is often lacking the foresight to make earlier subs and experiment with new lineups. Also some players have genuinely just been below par - had Lewandowski scored literally HALF of his BCM he’d be the Pichichi leader. We have all already seen how injuries have affected various players and teams - Barcelona especially, as aforementioned - and young players can have years of their career and even their future health/longevity derailed by playing too many games, especially at higher levels of competition, as well.
Imagine first and foremost, playing six or so u20s as a first team - would not compete largely with the *very best* and most physical sides (already an issue) - as well as putting all those younger up for serious and longstanding injury risk. We’ve been underperforming, and it’s not for the best, but my hope is that we turn a corner, having time to prepare to do even better next season, maybe even beat Napoli (would be a dream), replace our medical staff (or something???) and that Atleti steals more points off Madrid in an hour.
Thanks for keepinh up the content guys. Dougie is awesome but man has he had some pretty bad takes 😂
This fall off hurts me so much
Who’s here after Arsenal 3-1 Liverpool?
Scholes came out of retirement to win United the premier league. Not to mention when he nearly went blind in one eye or whatever it was 😅. He is the best ever for me, although I totally get that De Bruyne has more strings to his bow. It’s like comparing Pirlo and Seedorf for example.
why barca keep doing irrational bad choices, is cause the directiva feels it needs to sell some illusion to the fans. also cause real madrid keeps doing good shit. like if madrid bring in bellingham or win the ucl or win la liga this season which they are going to win it. then barca feel they need to do what they need to like compete, and this has becomes this toxic feedback loop driving them to radical bad choices
Has Zac left too?
About 3 months ago. Has his own channel now. Similar content, has old FD people on there too.
Why did he leave
@@Andy-db5gp Nobody said why really. Everyone left around the same time. Hamill was a few months earlier but since then Pat, Zac, Oba, plus others have either officially left or disappeared. It seems like it may be something to do with Sky and their plans for FD. Pat mentioned on Zac's channel that he's free to do what he wants now so I imagine scheduling and demands were beginning to be a problem.
Joe's left too. Said it was to focus on Saturday Social, then immediately started posting similar content to WNTT on his personal channel.
Basically Sky gutted their budget.

Honestly, as a Barca fan, I always feel a lack of knowledge in ur statements about Barca! Barcelona will be back to 1:1 this summer and there will be no issue in that case. Ofc u can criticize signings they have made but the majority of Barca players are on very reasonable wages and the payroll only contains 57% of the club revenue. Besides, Barca paid 30M for Roque and not 50!! Rafa Marquez is not gonna be the next manager and unlike u said Barca has enough funds to sign a good manager!! In England, people are not quite aware of Barcelona’s financial difficulties and they are exaggerating the situation.
hope you are correct. I havent kept up with our finances in a bit
@@AayushKhanal ofc it takes 2,3 more years to get back to normal situation but we almost passed the difficult part. Listen to Laporta’s last interview, u will get it.
This is accurate to a certain point, the wage bill still needs to be trimmed and it’s not like the teams finances are magically going to be fixed by summer. There’s still a matter of offload all the deadwood and fringe players we have on loan (Lenglet, Dest, Garcia, Fati, Torre, etc.) and having to restructure contracts like De Jong and Lewy. I love this team, but we cannot be blinded to the issues that are still not fixed.
@@DV_0423 ofc there is a long way to go! But we will become financially stable. It means there will be no ffp issues anymore. However, the club will continue to decrease expenditures and add more income. My point is we are safe no, may be not still strong financially but we are safe.
Scholes at 37/38 had more impact coming from retirement without training than de Bruyne has after a few months injured
Usually these guys know what they talk about but the Barcelona project isn’t as bad as they say. We brought players that were a higher level and instant impact on the team. Ferran Torres has been important and plays his heart out. Lewy was top scorer last season. Maybe we sell him. Raphinha has been important for us even though Lamine is shining more. La Masía is being trusted and used. Especially at this moment we have lots of injuries. We are making do with what we can. And even last season we won la Liga and Super Copa.
Fd Yay❤❤
Really, no talk about the refereeing in the Liverpool - Chelsea game? Not saying it would have changed the winner but the foul on Gallagher is a penalty every day of the week, build up foul vs Chilwell in Liverpool goal and then they get a cheap penalty, Caicedo foul is never a yellow,..
Cheap penalty? Jota had his foot stomped on, violently. And since Nunez missed, it didn’t impact the end result.
wtf is this thumbnail???
It’s really funny listening to this Liverpool section after how bad they played vs Arsenal
Imagine basing your opinion of a team entirely on one game.
JOHN BOOB
I had to comment just to appreciate the ridiculous thumbnail of this video
Have to disagree with the Barça segment. Was never a fan of the Lewa transfer, but after the sale of Auba, we needed a true 9. Would’ve preferred to keep Auba, but it is what it is.
Raphinha was also a necessary signing. We had Dembele, but he was injury prone. And Lamine Yamal was like 14 at the time Raphi was signed. Imagine the criticism if we’d said “nah we’ve got this lad who’s 14” Cubarsi similarly was 15 when Kounde was signed. No way we’re throwing 15 year old Cubarsi into the starting lineup. Poor takes there imo. Yes the kids are talented, but at the time of the signings, they were barely going through puberty
watching this after watching arsenal trash liverpool, is soo funny :D
They ruined this show. Love the Barca jacket but
Why are the two guys wearing Barca stuff when they constantly dis the club

I love De Bruyne. But how can he be the greatest ever when he be the best when he’s in the biggest sides and still can’t perform in the biggest of games and he’s been injured so much

Joe is a proper Sky Sports affiliated ex United fan, spends every spare minute trying to rewrite history and call whatever liverpool or city are doing as the greatest ever. Knows his personal finances are better off if they create a false narrative of things being anything more than artificial and forced
Anyone putting De Bruyne or Gerrard into a debate with scholes just shows how little they were actively watching football in the turn of the millenium. Just because youre only old enough to analyse football recently doesnt mean it is the beat ever
De bruyne at his best is better than both scholes or Gerrard at their best. His footballing skillset is much better than both. Playmaking, passing, shooting, both footed, versatile… if you’re going to mention tackling ability over actual footballing ability on the ball, the rest of the skillset trumps that only trait.
@@Prime1Wunna cool point, going to guess youre under 20?
@@brad09day over 20 my age doesn’t really matter. Acting like Gerrard or Scholes can be compared to the level of KDB, it’s so casual.
