You don’t need to be seen face to face, as long as getting your yearly diabetic bloods, the review can be done over the phone (But I personally hate using the phone for these things)
Fascinating. I was diagnosed as diabetic a couple years back and with severely high blood pressure to the point whenever I go in and they check my pressure they ask me if I'm alright and recommend going to the hospital. I've never had my feet checked though. Although it's given to me, Metformin doesn't agree with me and interups my day to day, so I don't take it and I just use the trulicify injections.
Metformin can upset some peoples stomach. The advice I give in that situation is I) an upset stomach from it normally lasts about two weeks, and we need to persevere through it to make it stop

I have my flu vaccine, and I’m not medically at risk It’s a safe medication, with minimal risk, honestly the question is why not given that flu will floor most people if they get it (Obviously worse if in a risk group)

I am not sure if you can give any idea as to why my sugar levels drop off , three days ago I was taking 26 humalog mix in the morning with 500 mg of metformin 500 mg of metformin at lunch time and 26 units of humalog mix with 500 mg metformin in the evening, today my sugars on waking were 5.5 and they are normally 8 or 9 so I lowered insulin to 16 but still took metformin lunch times sugars were 7 still took metformin this evening sugars 5 so I took 10 insulin with 250 mg of metformin had my meal and an hour later my sugars were still 5 but I was starting to feel light headed so I had a bread roll and some chocolate and hour later sugars are at 6. This happened about a year ago about the same time of year, I ended up off all insulin and off all metformin, I also take one injection of trulicity once a week, my diabetic GP don’t seem that bothered by it but it concerns me as to why it would happen, last year I had an ultrasound on my Pancras to make sure there were no tumours but ultrasound only could see half pancreas due to gas. I have tried a different blood glucose tester still the same. I did have a bout of diarrhoea last sat I don’t know if that might have something to do with it? Sorry for long message
