Grew up watching the speers and learned the old "Shape Notes" at the Stamp Baxter School of Music in TN in the late 90s where I was blessed to meet and talk with Rosa Nell Speer-Powell! As I said the entire Speer family are special to me, but Rosie has a very special place in my heart!
Ben had left the group. While I miss Ben's singing on "I Never Shall" I actually like this version. Brock was a super versatile singer. He had a great upper range.

I saw the Speers family when I was 17 yr and what a beautiful sight! They truly loved the Lord!!! BTW, I'm 75yo now!!!
