  • This really is a seldom seen machine from the early STERN pinball times. I am not sure if Stern had been on the market with EM games but when NUGENT hit the market, they were a "new-by" - compared to Gottlieb for example. Ted Nugent, the metal and hard rock guitarist was larger than life back in those days. Although i am into Heavy Metal i explored his music decades later. Ted Nugent was by far not that big here in germany than in the states. But who cares if you have such a cool pinball machine in your collection. This was once mine but i sold it to a real metalhead, playing guitar in bands like "Van Damned" for example. He asked me so many times to give it to him that i couldn't stand the "pressure" anymore...
When i was walking around and searching for pinball machine in my very youth i never ever saw a "Nugent" in our local pubs. So it was great to archieve one in 2014.
    Greetings from germany.

I'm a Ted Nugent fan from today going back to his huge concert days.
Thanks for posting this. It looks like a great machine. Wish I could find one. I'm guessing Ted has one in his gameroom. I know I would in his shoes !

Why does the camera keep showing the back glass or other things during the gameplay? This is a rare machine, how are we supposed to see how it plays if the camera keeps going off and crazy directions. We’ve seen the back glass. We’ve seen the score change. What we want to see is how the game plays.
