- Stern’s JAWS pinball games will have players grabbing their harpoons and playing as Quint, Hooper, and Brody to save Amity Island’s residents and the Fourth of July! As the grizzled fishermen, tackle the most dangerous ocean creatures on the planet. Tension mounts as you see “blood in the water” from our animated lighting effects. Fire pinballs at the motorized “Shark Fin” target swimming across the playfield. Anticipation builds as you navigate the “Orca Boat” upper playfield, featuring a “Lookout Tower” ramp, a ship’s wheel horizontal spinner on the deck, and a “Radio” stand-up target to call for help. Lookout! A motorized custom sculpted “Great White Shark” bash toy comes crashing through the bottom of a fishing boat, terrorizing players in this thrilling pinball odyssey. Will you survive JAWS?!

Finally, they're getting the designers talking about the games, it's great to hear Elwin explaining the layout and rules of the game, I'll definitely try it on location soon.

Im liking the 90s vibe on this one. The overall look and feel screams 90s williams. Hope it plays like a williams too.
JAWS has to be considered one of the most impressive movies ever. it made a huge impact to young and old. kind of iconic film footage those beach shots are so good.
I ended up ordering a Jaws Limited!!! Sooooo stoked on this! Looks like a masterpiece already and cannot wait to add this to my gameroom! Incredible job team!

Had the chance to play Jaws this weekend at local pinball expo and was pretty cool fun game the shark bash toy and buckets of chum were cool to hit.
GG has been my hero since P2k. I'm not a Jaws fan but the layout looks very good.

As someone who is a massive pinball fan but can only budget one table, ur getting closer and closer to a back to the future table (preferably trilogy). This looks awesome but give me bttf and my preorder is in immediately. Keep em comin!!!!
Apparently Dutch Pinball has rights to BTTF. No Stern BTTF will be coming.

@@frankdux5785 I think Stern could have done it right for sure but if Big Lebowski is any indication, Dutch is definitely capable to do it justice. It’s the dream theme in pinball so there are sky high expectations for that one.
I need this in my life, but it's outta my reach. I have to find an arcade that has one. I need to play this at least once in my lifetime.

this looks pretty nice. i especially like the moving fin drop target and the shark coming out under the boat. i think having that shark eating that ball like jurassic parks t-rex woulda added a little more fun. but still good job!

Yes they always seem to fail, I was hoping this one would finally show teh creativity that Bly-Wms does ...they woudl have surely had a ball grabbing magnet in mough/jaws of shark
In the team interview, they mention how the ball eating gimmick "sucked." It didn’t work, was too slow/cumbersome, etc and ruined gameplay. Also, an actual moving shark fin was going to be used instead of the moving drop. But it caused wacky air balls everywhere and was also scrapped. In the long run, it was a smart move to remove these features.
Look at Bally's Nip-It pin from the 70's and the VERY simple mech they used. Imagine what they could have developed with the new technology that would work even better! I would say then maybe their mech was not the "right" mech they developed, or thought of, so the result was not good. Like the ball eating t-rex on the original Data East Jurassic Park did not delay the game too much, and the software would also not eat the ball too much , for same reason. I think they could have developed a mech that worked and was cool.

Why is Roy Scheider not in the game?
Supposedly, his estate wouldn't give Stern the rights to use his likeness. With any luck, this could be resolved and included in a future update. But honestly, I wouldn't hold my breath.

ZEN Pinball made their own version of Jaws. It's a good game, but I am very much looking forward to this one by Stern! The chum feature is brilliant! The designer did a fantastic job making this table and I so want to play it!
I really love the Pro version. I think two or three pop bumpers would have been a great addition to fill up the space where the ORCA area is on the Premiums and LEs.
Hope to see this on the boardwalk this summer! We will play a few games for sure

Jaws really isn't my favorite but nevertheless nice game and congrats to the team and whoever is getting one. Now stern give me the warriors (1979) classic, warriors fighting their way back to coney, select which warrior your going to be to give you certain bonuses and fight each gang till you get to the end with the rogues and riffs 🙏

Either they didn’t want to pay what his estate was asking for the estate didn’t give permission. Weird when there are crappy funko pops of our chief but when something a fan would actually like comes around he’s not in it.

I played this in an arcade a few days ago. I never really cared for pinball, but this thing had me smiling. It's beautiful in person.
Keith is such a master at pinball design. I’m loving my JP Premium and plan to eventually own every game he makes. Just need the room for em. 😮

Sad. Doesn’t look like they could get the rights to Roy Scheider’s likeness. All three of them should have been on the art. Probably won’t see him in any cutscenes either. Looks like a fun game but that was the gang that took out the shark.
Technically he is in the cutscenes, but you only see him from behind or out of focus, so you won't see his face or hear his quotes, unless he's dubbed over by someone else.
This is incredible. As a lifelong jaws fan it brought a tear to my eyes. When will the digital tabletop be released??? I don’t have 10k handy.

This is just incredible the thought and detail that has went into making this i would love to see a new Jaws playstation xbox game made as well there's a new indiana Jones game coming out for xbox

It’s surprising that there isn’t a shot that involves getting the ball in the shark’s mouth, but I have no doubts that it was considered and passed on for a good reason. It was pretty amusing to see people jump the gun and dump on this based only on the leaked footage. This looks really fun to play.

Yes and it's a big problem for me but not for the majority... They just don't know the movie because they're too young!

Looks better than venom. Much of the Marvel ones aren't great, though. I know it seems like they're going in a pattern, but their TV/movie themed ones put great variety at locations. I'd like batman 66 w/ stern connected more often, and I haven't seen Aerosmith w/ connected yet.

LE is really pretty and with Keith Elwin and team behind the project it is more likely awesome to play. How come Roy Scheider is not represented along Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfus? Rights issue I assume?

Scenes shown from all the movies? Does that include 3 & 4? Nooooooooooooo! LOL Game looks great, hopefully I'll see one locally at some point once released. And I also see no Brody, was that a design choice or a licensing situation, as seeing the picture front and center with Quint & Hooper, looks naked without Brody as well.

They do know quint dies, right? Dr. Who style character selection would have been a nice touch... Chief saves swimmers on the beach... Hooper gets in the shark tank... steers the boat.. or am I missing something the trailer isn't telling?
