Hello..I m from North..the first time I had this meal at Bangalore I was stunned to see banana leaf..and was skeptical about the cleanliness..but when everyone is eating, you get the courage to eat over a banana leaf..and then after 10 seconds, 30 sec 45 sec, 1 min 2 min..no spoon!! They don't give you spoon to eat..and then you have to gather courage to ask for one if available.. or try out eating rice with hands..and I got selected for the exam I gave at Bangalore and spent good six years down south.. Now I am often found teaching people in north about the virtues of removing shoes outside home, eating rice with hands etc etc.. 😁

Glad he called it “sambaar” and not “saamber” as typically done. I’d have lost it had he done that. Welcome change. Shows the sincerity of his endeavor. Love this guy.
Best food vlogger... rich knowledge about food ,ingredients, way its prepared, the way you convey how it tastes and ur vocabulary is too good.. very cool calm and awesome attitude...
Jaise north main sab jagah saaf safau hoti hai ...hahaha
Thank you so much for ur comment 🙏🙏🙏I'm from Bangalore
Food tastes better if eaten by hand.
I am so sorry to ask this. But do North Indian eat chapathi with a spoon? Correct me if I am wrong.

Karnataka is a beautiful state! Bengaluru ❤️❤️perfect! A proud kannadiga ❤️❤️
Kannadati
Yes absolutely
I am happy to note that the presenter who is presumably north indian, pronounced the words sambhar rasam, thayir saadam etc very correctly. Presenters from the north usually stumble on these words. My best wishes to you
He is a kanadiga.
Bachelor s life in Malleshwaram in 80s was quite memorable.Iyers mess,Shakthi and Janata hotel were quite popular restaurants.Iyers mess was quite unique - simple homely traditional food ..
Came across your channel for first time. Thourougly enjoied all your vegetarian friendly vlogs 😊. Made me nostalgic about my Banglore stay .
Sambar, Rasam, Poriyal, Kootu, Vada, Appalam, Pickle on a Banana leaf. Perfect home food. Need to visit Iyer's Mess in Malleswaram.
Since this is brahmin food it is also without onion and garlic.. yet it's so delicious!!! I've eaten at the iyer mess. Feel like going there again.
Namma Bengaluru is home for so many Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and North Indian people. Good to see vast culture and different food here. By the way this Iyer food is also similar to the pure veg food you get in some of the core Karnataka areas which is not hyped.
I've watched a couple of your videos. Top quality. There's definitely something about the way you eat food which gives me hunger pangs. Feels calm, content and peaceful. Everyone must learn to eat and appreciate food like this! 👍🏻
The goto place in the youtube for food reviews. Food Lovers TV by Amanna the foodie genius. Thanks Amanna.
