For anyone want to know how much budget Atlus put on Mastema, let me tell you they gave Mastema 3 unique skills and all of that skills are animated. Also fyi, i think Satan is the only demon that have a Unique animation on it's innate skill.

I feel like you really have to avoid giving him too many procs of Crime and Punishment when he gets low on health since this is when he starts spamming strong attacks and buffs. Strong neutral hits is the way to go here.
lol Mastema on Hard & Godborn truly took 40 minutes out of my speedrun yesterday. Bruh is an angry casino of damage. All the final bosses have like 400 stats in each category, so you really need to grind cash, and pump up. Once he gets to like 25% health you gotta have a 4 hit murakumo ready to go, or you die.
He coulda probably killed all the major bosses in strange Journey as well but didn’t there because uh……. I dunno I suppose he wanted to get Zelenin stronger I guess
He gets a half press turn every time I exploit his weakness or crit him. I didn't think to use mirrors at this point to prevent stuff like this from happening, though mirrors wouldn't have saved me from almighty spam
The chaos route the only route th at made sense considering the true ending lucifer wanted the mandala system to end the law route wanted it to continue which would’ve caused an endless cycle
Is this Godborn hard or normal? I regretfully went to normal since I went there at level 99 and while the fights were easy, they just took years to finish and were boring.
Endgame is too hard to balance since they give you WAY too much glory, level mitama, and side quests compared to anywhere before so your level will naturally be higher. At max level the strength(especially)/magic build is too damn strong to make the fights fair if I'm being honest I went there at level 79-80 skipping the whole final dungeons enemy encounters and the final bosses actually felt sufficiently hard enough to lose once or twice but not feel like it's so tough it's impossible. It's ridiculous but I'd rather go in slightly underlevel than steamroll the bosses
It was the same way in Vanilla because they just give you too much because it's the last area in the game. Id probably advise against boosting your demons too much either aside from covering resistances and buffs it just seems extreme and can trivialize some of the fights
Some of them got reworked but the old archangels are still the same. It’s not like smt4 where the arch angels are all weird while he still looks like a guy with wings

It's Godborn hard. This was me trying these fights as soon as I got out of Area 1 so I had no incenses or anything
