Understanding Dynamic Nerfing & Game Balance // This goes for all of our videos. You may realize that sometimes the 1 immortal or radiant has more money, shields, etc. Or the enemies have light shields, reduced economy, etc. This is why most of our videos are close matches. They are balanced to the teeth. This means rule-sets are set in place to create fair gameplay for everyone involved. Sometimes we do this "dynamically". For example: Maybe a low ranked team would start with pistol only, then get a specter and light shield. After switching sides they maybe can full buy, etc, etc. This gives a sense of suspense to the video as the opposing team would slowly face an increasing challenge!

@@deepanshu00730 If he's on attack he will lose if he doesn't plant and if he's on defense he will lose if they just plant on the site he's not on, so there's no real benefit to doing it.
@@zaoex328 Yeah, I know, I was just trying to be a little creative...It's more like you, when you have planted, or when they are rushing towards you to kill u, go and climb somewhere high, so that you can see the spike, they cannot do a thing about it... Of coarse it will not work on defense, unless times' running out, or but on attack, it can work after u plant spike.
being solo vs 9 on defense seemed nearly impossible it takes the whole round to kill 9 ppl and it’s almost impossible to diffuse with so many ppl just waiting to kill you 😭
yeah, attacker would be so much easier because u can just hold out spike and not have to worry about being defenseless while u are trying to defuse.
for anyone reading this that feels like they want to correct a comment, im not saying the challenge was easy on attack. im merely saying it was easier.
@DogeRobloz you good bud dw. The challenge was easy to look at as an attacker since if you cant find people you just plant. But the aim diff on all ranks are just 😮
If the immortal started on defense he'd won because he'd have one more round on attack if it got to 4-4
it was impossible. Ascendants kept runing as 2 for no reason. just hit him with one man sacrifices.
It would have been more possible I feel like if they killed whoever was planting and then tried to hold spike but I noticed a lot of the time they kind of ignored that factor (minus the times they were all the way across the map of course lol)

I think gekko would have been best so that the radiant guy only had to keep killing rest diffuse was easy
I'm surprised noone tried gekko, since the defuse is almost free, you can plant and defuse while defending gekko with your gun and not putting yourself in danger

@@amineot4144 no. smaller maps are better for 1 man. they can't spread that much and they can't run. they also can't buy that much time by planting on the other side. Radiant on Sunset map would win 5/0.
@Ken-un9jb yea they don t spread that much , 1v1s are better for the 1 man than 5v1 or 4v1 that s why smaller maps are easier for the ascendants
@@amineot4144 literally wrong. everytime they were grouped up, Radiant simple put the mountain of corpses instantly. Immortal was doing same 4-0 literally... Small maps are advantage for 1 player here. not the other way around...
It's not about the size of the map, but the distance on the corners and the openness of the planting spot.
45:36 Right here is actually a fantastic example of the radiant’s decision-making. In that scenario, Ditto was saying they should’ve baited one. However, if they baited one, Reyna would’ve had time to plant the bomb, pull out their classic, and right click the one that pushed, effectively losing the round. The two ascendants basically were forced to both push out and try for the knife, allowing that INSANE clutch to happen.
It takes 4 seconds to plant the spike, Reyna killed Brimstone at ~3.81 seconds. Had the Jett remained hidden, Reyna wouldn't have time to plant the spike.
when they were with the radiant, they should've just sent 1 after one, after one. then all of them run
Although I am sure there are Iron players who don't want to get pity kills,
it's nice to see that high ranked players aren't so sweaty all the time and make it playable for them.
RIP the Bronze Reyna though. If the Iron chose Reyna and Bronze chose Breach, I think their results would've been better for sure.
I do think that the of all maps sunset is a really good one for the solo person. Lots of locals to slip by and sneak past the knife horde. And lots of space to peak corners while keeping distance to not get knifed

This was a very fun content, the silver player was playing very logical using odin-reyna, but to be honest IMO most of the higher ranker players just wanted to enjoy it w/ phantom.
odin isnt good if you dont spot a camper tho, cause its a heavy gun to carry and slow switch.

To be fair to Gold Raze, Haven does seem like a disadvantage since map is tight and has many corners to clear.

I think for these challanges you either should not change map, or let the solos pick a map, since that is also playing smart

I just see the video for 2 minutes, and I think this challenge is easier if someone pick neon,with her ult and her running ability,she can running around and spamming dash,cuz she'll get dash after got 2 kill

In these games, the moment you push that Shift button and hold an area, that is when you get overwhelmed from all directions.
The radiant gets a massive advantage by watching and learning from the others. If it started with the radiant the outcome might be different.

Not really, the ascendants early on would get demolished by the radiant player. They were still fucking around and they were able to work on coordination using the bronze - diamond players.

I feel like they could've had an easier time if they played using a sentinel character, specifically Cypher and especially Killjoy. I'd like to see the ascendants try to outplay using movement as they get trip wired and shot at by the turret.
I feel like him having zero deaths is the cherry on top. Showing us that "yes there's an aim diff." But also a tactic diff, he has time to think about things that for anyone else would be overwhelming. Using Ult when needed at the end of the round so he can close out and still have dismisses, so much so that he doesnt even die.
In the mind of a radiant is a crazy place.

The crispy radiant though. The immortal had the gamesense, but the radiant had the aim and game sense. Everyone else looked bronze in comparison. But I think 9 immortal/radiant knives or more practice might beat the radiant, they threw a bit

1:13 I think the smartest picks would be people with distance movement i.e neon or yoru or agents with stuns like deadlock or breach that way you have time to reload your gun. I’m assuming omen is banned or useless for obvious reasons.

Mid way watching, wouldnt jett be best, unlimited ammo if you get kill. Updraft to stop possible knife, considering reyna dismiss just allowed them to group up.
Dash to run away, and you can use it up to 6 times.
Other than that neon is a good option too
I thouth same. reyna is a realy bad option, raze (c4 to escape and damage and grenade each 2 kills), and neon jett for unlimited ammo + movement

I’m a level 25 silver 2 player and my biggest struggle so far is aiming (i play a lot of FPS but never anything with aiming like Val). Ngl, watching you play… it really made me feel better about my aim 👀

This is a great idea but i think playing deffender as the Solo Person is to hard because he cant defuse anytime soon because they just rush him when he trys to defuse and then back off again.
Next time make all the knifers buy a vandal or phantom or something so ammo isnt an issue because the one with the gun can just grab a new gun off the floor if they get a kill. That way you can see the difference in ranks with real guns because everybody is just gonna spam an odin and that looks the same at every rank
The issue with that is that ammo conservation is also a skill in this challenge that the higher ranks did really well with but lower ranks arnt used to needing to worry about

These people compare their best with probably some of these people’s worst and they have the stress of doing good especially high ranks low ranks just get seen as low ranks. Funny thing is some of those people have better set ups than some of the high ranks
@@gadirjabili3412 Depends how you look at it. There are immortals that play as good as radiants, for sure, ranking is mostly farming. There are also radiants who play worse than some immortals. An immortal can be stuck in Immortal and a radiant can be boosted to radiant. Also there is a huge gap between radiants. Some of them are insanely good and some of them are just good. Pro players are also radiants, but not all radiants are pro players.
