Failsafe pulled a third dagger out of its freaking back to stab Clark. That was too dope.
And illogical, he has superspeed and sees everything fast. It made no sense.

I'm going to predict that by the end of this Batman will transcend his physical form and basically just be Failsafe.

He went back in time a million years and founded the green lanterns then just shows back up with 50 rings on each finger and the ultimate nullifier somehow and uses that to turn failsafe into a new love interest for Damian. That is how crazy they get with him sometimes.

This whole story is "Batman VS Batman's Plot Armor", and it's AMAZING!!!

Yeah he survived atmospheric reentry, but it's actually far more impressive that he was able to mentally calculate his exact landing spot. 😮
i love that scene of batman and robin running at failsafe cause it's also the same way they ran in old comics and it is just beautiful it really shows how far both of them have come in their lives in and out of the comics it's just great

Is it me or does Batman seem to be the cause of apocalyptic scale events? The man is either secretly psychotic or inwardly a villain. We have The Darknights metal events, Justice League War, the omnivac virus, Brother eye, and the events of Bruce Wayne from the dark multiverse. Now we have Anti Batman. Think about it.🤔

The part in which Batman falls to Earth reminds me of part out of the movie "Hollywood Shuffle". There was a scene in there with a MacGyver/Indiana Jones character, who basically pulled a explanation out of his ass to how he survived death alongside a woman. "Well..the chemicals were affected by the moon's gravitational pull and slowed our fall..." 🤣🤣🤣
When there isn't one but they wanted to make him look cool 😭
All this comic says to me is Batman's aggressive paranoia made problems for literally everybody he claims to care about so yeah I hated that gliding from orbit type deal but that robot beating the brakes off of him across the planet love it love it

I think there's something to Failsafe not staying to fight Dick. Not from any sentinel aspect, because he's been shown not to operate with that capacity, but maybe it was programmed with key flaws subconsciously by Batman and his need to protect Dick. Maybe the inherent hesitation with Dick is it's greatest flaw.
Failsafe already beat Grayson twice. Then captured Dick Grayson.
This run is the dopest dope Batman has ever doped. Chip does so many amazing things to call back to and tie together every Batman we've ever known. And Tim Drake proves why he's the best Robin in the next arc when he tracks down Toyman in the multiverse.

Surviving the fall from space is very possible, remember Felix Baumgartner! He jumped from space and broke the sound barrier with a freefall! This was a redbull project and it went off successfully. Felix actually jumped from space, broke the sound barrier with his body and gravity alone, and SURVIVED. We all know Batman’s suit is Op and hes also a genius. It isnt wild to see him surviving that fall as well.
This is exactly it if Felix can do that batman with an IQ of 330, peak human and knows crazy skills should also be able to do it too. Batman haters ignoring facts.

Writers Ryan North and Chip Zdarsky confirm that Batman's Falling to Earth actually has a scientific basis behind it, the talked to a few scientists about how it would be possible and wrote the scene after it.

Assuming he could slow himself down enough to not burn up in the upper atmosphere, terminal velocity in the atmosphere is 120 miles per hour, and the cape could probably slow him down even more. I mean, someone landed one of those squirrel suits not too long ago... 😅
That IS a little stupid that Failsafe was over-engineered to attack the Justice League too. If the League was supposed to be susceptible to Batman's planning already, one would presume Batman had already done the deed of neutralizing them.
