    One of the most under-rated motorbikes I know.

    "Alright, the NC750X has good power, but is it comfortable? It may not be true but it holds its own in the comfort department. First up is the seating position..."
    Sounds like it was written by a guy who sells washing machines.

    I have 2019 NC 750X DCT for 3 years, done 40 K miles in London, I just love this bike.

    All the comments saying that it has no HP. Well, a friend sold his to get a V-strom 1,000 thinking it was an upgrade. He sold it a few months later. I got to ride it and I much rather stay with my NC750X, it has much more torque and it’s much quicker. HP in a paper is not the most important thing, the bike is agile.

      I test rode an nc700 and ended up with a vstrom 650 just because the nc700's instantaneous power delivery was so bad. I'm curious how much better an nc750x is. 2 up on the vstrom is really good.

      Hi Frank, really pleased you like your DCT version, I am a returning rider after 43 years of not riding….a drunk driver almost finished me and certainly destroyed my Yamaha RD250LC…anyway , got my NC750DCT last year, January, I am I will admit a very fair weather rider, why not, stuff riding in the wet ….unless caught out, I live on the small island of Jersey, just off the north coast of France, small roads, 200,000 cars on a 9 by 5 miles rock, so it’s busy, I go out a few times a week, took me a little while to deal with the DCT, but you get used to it soon enough, it’s a dream to ride, low centre of gravity, good brakes, good handling and decent power, who cares to ride like Barry Sheene…I have used the DCT all the time, using standard most times, for damp roads, I use the rain mode, but yesterday I decided to put the bike into manual….wow…it’s so easy to use the finger and thumb shifter, and what’s more, it is so easy now to keep the bike right on the speed limits, without the gearbox keep changing up and down, manual mode is easier on the wrist I found, both my wrists and arms were broken in my accident, so a bit weak, but I found manual mode was so easy and good for your throttle wrist, easy to ride at a snails pace also, never going to stall….I love this bike, folks talk about the cockpit wind shield being too small, for me it’s fine, I kitted mine out with centre stand, hand guards, engine bars, air deflectors and got a battery trickle charger adapter….the bike is comfortable for my two hour ride outs, it can overtake very quickly if you want, fuel economy is great…..my one bug bear….why oh why have the tyre air valves at right angles, the same side the front and rear discs are on, very fiddly….oh if you can also get a front fender extender, a radiator guard and a rear wheel hugger……I plan to keep my bike ….why would I or you want to change….safe riding wherever you are…cheers…from a very hot 35C Jersey!

      @@karlhoward2737 true on the DCT, I’ve come to enjoy it. I’ll be 75 next month so that was a good reason for me to switch to it and I have no regrets.

    I have a 2021 model and like it a lot, being utilitarian that is. I wonder why this review is all praises? We don't buy bikes because they are PERFECT (no such a thing); we buy them because, on the whole, they satisfy our special needs. This bike is not designed for "off road excitement" (2:45), because It has a budget suspension, ABS cannot be disabled, and has a low ground clearance. By being all positive or all negative about a bike, the reviewer discredits himself.

      Cruise control will be on the bike after the MSRP goes above $11,000... maybe 3 years from now. The Honda Marketing folks are notorious for this. They really squeeze the $ out of the most needed options.

    • @dougmacpherson2610
      @dougmacpherson2610 6 місяців тому

      If you ride conservatively between 55 and 60 miles per hour you can usually count on 62-65 mpg. If you ride aggresively that can drop below 55 mpg. Believe me, I know.

    • @Darranna
      @Darranna 4 місяці тому

      @@dougmacpherson2610I assume that’s a US gallon? my 2021 DCT will do over 80 Imperial MPG (4.5 Litres) easy, on a recent run of 160 miles around A and B roads here in the UK it returned nearly 90 MPG.

  • @failboy117

    I can say that I love this bike. It’s great for long rides and daily riding, but I will say it needs a little help in the comfort department as far as the seat. Also the suspension is NOT that great for off road stuff as someone who lives on a gravel road. Great overall though especially for a first bike

    The first thing you need to know before buying the Honda NC750X is that it has half of a car's engine. Seriously it's not a motorcycle engine that's why it starts to lose power after 4500 rpm.
