TriHard Cx Now you're reducing yourself to racism, it's good to know that other people get dumber every day. I'm white, by the way. Therefore the sad excuse for an insult does not relate to me.
Hello, I just saw your awesome video, and I wanted to know if I could post it on my french FB pages ? (Cogitos - Un type qui cogite, 450K fans and Info Couple, 1,4M fans) I will mention your YT channel, of course ! Thanks ! :)
Isn't this going to confuse the dog and, for example, lead a blind person off a cliff or something. I thought a guide dog is supposed to stop a person from going into a place that is not safe.
Service dogs are more than just guide dogs for the blind. Many disabilities can be assisted by a trained service dog such as: diabetes, epilepsy, heart conditions, hearing impaired, autism, PTSD, bipolar, mobility impaired etc. All of which would be able to navigate across the glass panels
A guide dog though would guide the blind handler to the edge of the glass and stop, the handler would reach out a foot to feel for why the dog stopped, would feel the glass and tell the dog to walk forward and the dog would do so. Its a partnership, the dog sees but the handler directs and navigates
So this is really adorable, but isn't this a terrible thing to teach a service dog? Like, if they have to help a blind person, aren't you kind of teaching them to not be afraid of cliffs and ledges, which would be an issue with blind people?
Not all service dogs are guide dogs for blind people. Many other disabilities can be helped by a service dog, such as diabetes, epilepsy, heart conditions, hearing impaired, mobility impairments, PTSD, autism, bipolar etc.. In the case of an actual guide dog though, the handler still needs the dog to cross the glass just like everyone else( what if the blind handler had to get to their job and the only way to get there was over a pane of glass) in which case the guide dog would guide the handler to the edge of the glass, stop and look back go let the handler know that an obstacle has been reached, the handler would reach out a foot to tap the ground, ascertain that it was a solid pane of glass and direct the guide dog to go forward and the dog would do so. If the guide dog reached the edge of a cliff it would direct its handler away from the edge as theres no other side to step off to on the other side and even if the handler insists upon reaching the edge, a cursory foot tap would tell the blind individual that its not safe to walk forward
@@kayy1171 Well, it is considered offensive and rude. Even if you just want to pet it, you would have to ask for the owner's permission. They are on duty. They're not to be coddled or fussed about. They have a duty to accomplish and they're just trying to help those with disabilities. If it's distracted from it's job the owner could get seriously injured of hurt without the proper guidance. Hope you understand :)
Hi there, can we share your cool video in our social media accounts (over 5m followers) ?? We can give you full credit or pay you some cash $$ as you like of course.
What you got wrong was telling her "good girl" when the dog was in an insecure, unsure state. You need to be assertive with the fact that your dog is just going to keep walking. They might use this experience to freak out everytime just for treats.
You do realize that service dogs aren't born fully trained, it takes about 2 years of intensive training to get them to that level by exposing them to all kinds if things...just like in this video
I love that she thinks she's balancing on the beam 😩😩
He walks straight on the line just to be safe lol. I️ would too.
He thinks there’s no glass until after he realizes there is
Fr be like hold upppp
service dog needs a service dog after that traumatic experience
She just accepts that her owner is basically god and can float on air, but DOGS CANNOT I MUST BE CAREFUL.
Humans did the same thing with Jesus, no?
I don't know why this comment cracked my up xD
Problem is this dog just learn she could walk on air and poor dog may tries to do it where she could not, this action was stupid one
@@curiosity9283 Nah, you're just being cynical.
I love how she walks on the beams, and then still checks with every paw she goes on the glass
Love how the front paws are on the metal thing but not the back ones🤣
She stays on the line just to be safe. This is so sweet! Beautiful dog.
so cute, he even test the glass by stomping his paw.
He was thinking: Is this for real? what kind of witchcraft is this?

Daily Dose of Internet didn't show the dog actually walking on the glass so Im here :D
He never does 😂 (I came here before I watched the full daily dose clip)

What a sweet dog
Hope will definitely survive the fake glass game on squid games, by walking on the beams.
She's smart, as she's trying to balance on the one beam at first!

It’s not a cliff or ledge, it’s a glass floor. They’re teaching the dog to recognise and not be afraid of glass floors
"This is fawking unbelievable."
I don’t blame the dog though, even as an adult I don’t like glass floors.

You're not supposed to pet a service dog, are you?
Bruce Alrighty No, you can't pet them while they are working but this is a service dog in training. They use comfort touches and treats to coax him.
Oh, I never knew that. Thanks.
Why can't you pet one? What's the problem?
